Well, before I actually start, I should probably give a bit of background information.
My name is Cass. I'm 20 years old.
I'm about 5'4", and currently weigh 180 lbs.
My target weight is 125lbs by the beginning of the summer.
I've been overweight for as long as I can remember. I've thinned out over the years, but I haven't quite thinned out completely.
I've actually just started the OptiFast800 program yesterday, and have a schedule that looks a little something like this:
10:00 am -- Shake I
12:30 pm -- Shake II
3:00 pm -- Shake III
5:30 pm -- Shake IV
7:30 -- cup of fruit or sugar-free jello
9:30 -- Shake V
My doctor says I can have the sugar-free jello (5-10 cals a cup) if I'm feeling hungry, just for this week.
As for water, the doc recommended 32 fl oz at the very least. I have a small jug that holds that much, and I, so far, have ended up finishing it twice in a day.
With that, she wants me to interval train on the treadmill, too.
Luckily, I'm used to a lot of high-activity because I used to be in my high school's color guard.
I've started myself at 20 minutes: walk a minute, jog a minute, etc.
I'm looking to increase the time by five minutes every day or two.
It's been sort of hard so far, especially because the food my mom cooks smells so good! But I'm ready to take this challenge head-on.
There'll probably a lot of whining about wanting real foods in this diary.
