Goal-
Lose 60lbs
My Mission:
I did attempt weight-loss a few years ago but I was under-educated about how to live healthy etc, it did go well for a few months but motivation lacked and I eventually gave up. But now I'm back with an optimistic view on things and with your help I can achieve my goal! I lack support from my parents because there both slim and don't know how it feels on the other side, I've tried talking to them and all sorts but in all fairness there both stubborn so I'm hoping to get support from you guys! I'm sure I'll no doubt whine and moan on here because how hard it will be but I need you guys to put me straight haha!
My Background-
I'm Amy and I'm 16, I currently attend college doing Interactive Media (Nerdy stuff!) and I admit I have a weight issue which needs to be sorted. I started gaining weight since the age of 6, nothing traumatic happened to me though but I put my hands up for comfort eating because I eat when I'm upset/angry or even bored which is terrible. Anywho, I did get teased at the begining of highschool until I stood up for myself. Since then I've grown alot of friendships and people started to respect me more. I have 5 other brothers and sisters 3 are older two are younger, and there all slim so I'm the odd one out haha.
My Plans-
I hope to be going to the gym twice a week starting from next week. If I have the time I will up it to three times a week (I have college so it's a maybe). I will be cutting back on my huge portions I usually have and have small but regular meals and drink plenty of water. I admit this is going to be a daunting task but that's why I'm here! Then when I'm a few lbs away from my goal weight I'll be doing muscular training to tighten up the loose muscles and such.
I won't be updating every day but I will be updating regularly so please please check back and comment!
Day 1 - 08 Jan 2009
I've cut back on portions today and I feel great about it. I have been changing my lifestyle for about a week now and in all I've lost 4lbs which is a really shocker because I havn't started the gym yet. I have also cut out red meat from my diet (not forever) but I've replaced it with fish & white meat which is healthier option. And I've replaced my usual Cola with good old fashioned water, but occasionally I will have a glass of diet cola so my body don't go all crazy on me.
Meals Today-
Breakfast: Low fat cereal bar.
Lunch: Low fat Tuna mayonnaise roll.
Tea (Dinner in the USA): Cooked Dinner (Turkey, Veg's) Small Portion!

Rock on Amy! You're doing sooo awesome! 4 pounds is huge right off the back. Pretty soon you'll be 60 pound lighter
