Amomono's Fresh Start

hey anomono! thanks for starting that thread in the club section. wanted to stop by your diary as we are so in the same boat..maybe we can figure out a way to get the patience level up , the motivation up, and the losses to lose!!! plateaus could drive a person insane. keep it up...one day at a time..just like the beginning, i guess (but it sure it even harder now in a totally differetn way!!) great work!!`
 
you know... as difficult as it is to try to limit calories normally, I'm not having too bad of a time with it right now! Although, i did save quite a few by not having snacks between meals today... I figured with the pizza that I could hold off.

you know - I haven't had a lot of time to read other's diaries and get caught up... I need to start reading the newbie forum again though and see how all those new peeps are doing =) For some reason I totally forgot about it!

egg white omelete w/ veggies & cheese (125, 60)

late night dinner:
pasta w/ tomato sauce (180,15)

total cals: 1262, 248 (thru dinner)
h2o: 68 woot!
exercise: none =(

well... i fell asleep before eating anything proper in the evening... and woke up at 2am starving!!!! so i'm having a bit of pasta and hanging out with my fiancee (he works until 11, so he's still awake)

I really struggled with whether i should eat something to make sure I got enough calories for the day or if it was so late and too late and it would hurt more to eat now... but my tummy kept me from sleeping... so i ate a little bit, and hopefully i'll be good.
 
Hey!!!! Long time no see! I see you've been gone again too! Well, you are so close to your goal. You are only 3 pounds away from MY goal! We are both going to make it this time!!! Did I read the work FIANCEE?
 
lol - yep... we've been officially engaged since last july... but aren't getting married until next june... the big news is that he moved here in January and we are shacking up and living in sin until then (lol - I just had to put that... i don't feel that way at all - and I'm a DIVINITY student! we just don't have time to plan a wedding otherwise it would be done by now... and i can't stand to be long distance anymore)

breakfast:
special k w/ berries (160, 2)
20 oz h20

snack:
apple (100,5)
16 oz h20

lunch:
16 oz h20
salad: romaine, roma tomato, green olives, turkey, balsamic (15,0 + 15,1 + 25,20 + 50,25 + 10,0)
sunflower bread toast (120,15)

dinner:
rock green light - beer (83,0)
pan-seared tofu in orange peanut sauce (656, 207)
** not sure about exact calories - this was taking all ingredients, adding up, dividing by the three servings we had... but we had a bit left over, and there was oil left in the pan from cooking the tofu**

dessert:
melon/peach sorbet (80,0)

total cals: 1314, 275 (thru dinner)
h2o: 52
exercise: 30 min run/walk/jog + crunches + squats + pushups


I'm taking b's car in to get it totally detailed and cleaned this morning for his birthday... but i'm afraid i'm going to get stuck there for hours by myself... oh well, such is the price you pay for surprises!!!

Hey, thanks for stopping by to say hello in my diary! You're doing extremely well with your eats!!! I hate those late night cravings, but when I do get them I chug about 8 ounces and water and then wait. If that doesn't work I always make sure I have some kind of protein as opposed to carbs bc when you're trying to lose weight you should eat your carbs in the morning as opposed to the night. (Although I guess it was the morning for you! Haha)

Just an opinion, but you are doing great! Motivation for me!
 
Hi Katie!! Glad things seem to be going well for you!

I lived w/ my hubby for 5 yrs before we got married, it isnt' something i"m proud of, but what can you do?? I had a daughter and I wanted her to have as stable a life as possible.

Anyways, your doing great hun!! Keep it up!!
 
Now that my fiancee and i are living together, I think it is the best thing that ever happened to us. It really is stability that we never had before (b/c of long distance)... so i totally understand!

dinner had more calories than i wanted - but i did good the rest of the day, and it was really only the oil that pushed things over... and i'm not sure we consumed all of it...

Amomono..congrats on reaching 135lbs!!..that's fantastic..I am aiming for 140 for now..but man, seeing your result is definitely making me think it's possible!... you keep it up :D
 
Great job on the 135 lbs!!! Your doing fantastic, keep it up, you'll be there in no time! Oh and those middle of the night grumblies, ugh i hate those, i usually down a fizzy sprite zero and takes away the craving, weird I know but it works!

the thing about my craving tho was that I really hadn't eaten enough food during the day... i basically skipped dinner (i had some triscuts around 5:30 and was going to eat when i got home at 9:00).

If i had eaten a full day's worth of food, i think i would have been fine =)
