Amiba's journal> it is time to make it happen.

i swear my roommate can find it for cheap. He is weird like that. seriously we found a set of 22" inch rims and tires for my truck for 410 bucks. whoa.

Hello Amiba...I have had a cat like that--he follows me around everywhere, and talks!!(he's a crazy lil bastard...lol I hope you're working out this back pain..? I don't have chronic pain in my back, I only had that once, but I do get lower back pain from running, also shoulder pain with running, IDK it's weird.

I usually have a sore neck and shoulders from stress, but you'd think running or any activity would loosen that up for me.

I love Farmer's/Art/Flee Markets...what kind of Art do you do?

Looks like you know how to keep a well balanced diet. Yum. Talk ta ya Lata :seeya:

VIP pass!!

haha VIP passes, yes. but it is a very high profile event so not anyone can get in, we need to hire security, too.
Jell-0 sounds great. but it has to be a sugar free Jell-0 you know, it can even advertise for weight loss and chicks. nothing cooler than that :p

Haha my cat is very vocal. he actually answers when I call and we engage in weird guttural conversations, it is cute. I feel much better now that I exercise but I am def. going to the doctor to get it checked. I am suuuch a big fan of flea markets, I could go crazy on those!
and I am a photographer. I do mostly fine art and experimental but I also draw and paint
smuack!

Sounds like you're doing great! Just checking in.
Not to mention, I'D LIKE A PASS TOO hahaahaha

today's been a slow day.
but hopefully that will change in the afternoon!

woke up around 9, had breakfast, stretched a little.
(I am still struggling to add my yoga in the -I am a zombie- part of my day
which is during the morning. hah

had a fruit bowl with cottage cheese and a little bit of granola,
my usual black tea.
heading to school in a bit.

I think it is tough to realize I don't lose weight nearly as fast as others. to me it is a whole process and it can take months, even a year. I'd lie if I didn't say I am a bit bumed out about not losing any. but I keep reminding myself that staying healthy is the most important thing.

Also I am not really doing the best I could when it comes to exercise. so today I am going for a long walk, at least 2 hours. then some bike and some work on the swiss ball. I need the time to think and prove myself I can give more.

I need a good exercise routine that wears me out, leaves me so tired I can't even get up the next morning. I want PAIN, darn it! :Angel_anim:

well I better be going for now.

lol... love ur little rant, reminds me of me. most people are updating their tickrs so aften, and i'm just stuck! its irritating... but i remember one thing, and thats what is keeping me going.

around 5 yrs back, me and a friend of mine were trying to lose weight together. we used to wake up at 6am so we could squeeze in 1 2.5-3 km walk before school. then in the evening, we'd cycle another 6 kms to and fro our tuition classes. and of course, we ate healthy.

within a few weeks, my friend reported that she had lost some 3-4 kgs(we were both of similar weight, though she was a little shorter), and i just kept getting discouraged, kept checking my weight everyday; but since my cousin's wedding was 2 months away, i didn't dare give up.

a few days later, when i checked my weight again, i was SHOCKED! i had dropped 6kgs almost overnight. i checked my weight repeatedly overthe next few days to make sure i wasn't dreaming... and i wasn't :D

so maybe, this time around, we're working that way :) i dunno... happens i guess :) i'm not complaining!! :D

all the best!!

haha yeah, I think it is because my body is adapting to my new eating style and the exercise. I am less and less worried about the weight loss because over all, I am doing this for me- eating fruits, veggies, drinking water, exercising, my body is happy. he didn't see that coming!
also not eating as much sugar helps me prevent possible diabetes that runs a lot in my family.

maybe this time it will work that way, I remember last time I dropped 7 kg was because I wasn't worried on my weight and just took care myself. I am doing the same thing now.

so we shouldn't get discouraged because a scale doesn't show us the magic. we can show ourselves the magic! -is excited- haha

I haven't been this tired in a long time.
I can't even feel my legs!

so I went to take a small 2 and a half hour power walk at 5 pm. the time wasn't the best choice because it was still pretty sunny, I at least had sun screen on.

it was quite the adventure. I decided to go to a very large and spacious street close home. I've never walked there before so I decided to give it a go, I thought, pff. 2, 3 hours. no big deal. what I wasn't expecting is that more than half my journey was going to be moderately up hill. ohhh fun

there is something special about being the only one walking for exercise while thousands of cars pass next to you. the other people I saw walking around a bit were construction workers and boy are they obnoxious. they whistle and would almost do anything to get your attention, hah.
It is amazing how much people rely on their vehicles to survive, and that some of them had the nerve to honk while I was struggling to get by. I was like: oh, are you enjoying this, do I amuse you? stop staring at my butt.
why is so amazingly strange to see someone walking these days anyway?

I was feeling quite happy and enjoying the scenery until my water ran out half way through. oh oh, then I felt like a poor woman lost in the middle of the Sahara.
I kept walking but got really thirsty, so I decided to steal some water from houses I walked by. oh.. so yeah they are watering the plants and.. SLLLLURP.... runs--- it was a cute misdemeanor

also I arrived to a very beautiful park and noticed water sprinklers. like the 5 year old I am sometimes I jumped on them. people stared but I seriously couldn't care less, the water was cold and very, very refreshing, just what I needed to endure the 1 hour walk back home.

getting back home was a little bit tough, especially the last 10 or so minutes.
I felt my legs bending and basically giving on me. kept reminding myself I was very close and the minute I arrived home I threw myself to the couch.

after 30 min or so I tried to do some crunches and arm work but I didn't handle much, I think I had enough exercise for a day!

oh, I had a bit of tuna, pasta and spinach at lunch
and just ate more fruit with a bit of cottage cheese, was in the mood for something sweet.

I am very proud of myself for enduring such a long walk.
now I just have to be consistent :toetap05:

Well done on the walk there is a very large bank near ours and its a killer to get up it, its also a very busy road! Usually once im up i appreciate the difficulty as the views are stunning. Worst nightmare running out of water on a hot day and working ya butt off too :(
Food sounds yummy as usual!!

hey sweetie!

yeah I could commit a crime to find water.. haha it was funny, being sneaky around those houses stealing their water.
I love those places where you can walk to get a view. the best view I got were.. cars. and, well. not too motivational.
I love cooking and I've been handling my meals very well
xoxo!

If you ever come to england i'll take you to all the beautiful countryside that i dont think england gets much credit for!! I cook you a banquet!! Of healthy food of course. Do there have BBQ in mexico, i know they do in america. You would probably freeze your arse off over here on a hot day lol was 19oC today and we mite have BBQ on satday as forecasted for similar weather yey!! Ive been slacking a little on the water consumption but promised myself tomorrow i will get right back on that shit lol Is it an offence in Mexico to take someones water???

count on it! of course I am going I just need the money. but the willing? my mind is there right now haha.
and we do get cold weather here. not as extreme, but as low as -2, maybe. but I do remember getting there the first time and being cold in the summer, wearing these huge sweaters and everyone chilling at the beach. haha we looked so funny!

water is always tough I struggle with it. well not in days like these that I even stole it from other peoples houses xD

I think the coldest it got winter just gone was like -6/7 which really isnt too bad. If it gets above like 8/9oC everyone goes abit mental lol convertibles are go! I love the sun, if its a sunny day everyone is happy lol I would never go to a north eastern beach to sunbath its too cold we share the north sea with norway and its always very very cold even on a warm day! I have to go to sleep now it 4:30am here Dan is snoring on my left and snoring on my right is Koda on the floor. It's like surrond sound lol Have a great day tomorrow i know you will :)
