AmbaLove is Tracking the Journey!

28 tampons? Holy crap... I'm going to make a "Tampons for Tatas" (since you're boobalicious also) foundation. So I take it you want a gift card from Target or Walmart or even Costco, eh? ;) Congrats with ovulating, honey!! I really do hope you start feeling better and don't go rushing back to school until you feel up to it. Love yas.

Well, we don't have a cosco, so that would not work...actually the bleeding is starting to slow down some, I only went through 16 yesterday.

I have not called in sick. I'm too stubborn. Also, my kids had a field trip yesterday and it would have been a disaster to send a sub with them. So, I came. Monday I was here, left for an hour for the blood draw, came back and left an hour early for the dr. appt. Today, I am here with a therma care pad on my tummy, hoping to stay all day, but might skip out early if need be.

I know that you want to be conscientious regarding your work - but I really think that working through that is above and beyond the call of duty.

There are times in your life when you really should put yourself first - and I think that this is one of those times.

Please go home if you feel any worse. They will cope without you.

Take care

Margaret, the main reason I am here today is that I have a meeting after school until 6, that I get paid $25 an hour for attending...and the money will come in handy for christmas.

Oh, and despite not working out for the past three days, I was down .4 lbs this morning from my lowest weight.

Geez, I don't know how you handled a field trip! You are such a trooper!

What grade do you teach?

I hope you feel better soon!!!

Yup, Amber needs that extra $$ for her tampon fund. :D That has got to be fricking expensive. I go through about 30 tampons during the avg period--I can't imagine going through almost that many in one DAY!! Damn--that's like $4 a day on tampons--not to mention the pads. Multiply that by 7 and that's about $30. And from what you said, it may be more. Yikes! I feel for ya.

You're a trooper, Amber, carrying on like you have through all this. :)

Hi Amber

Great news about the weight loss. A new low is always special.

Keep on taking care of yourself.

Take care:hug2:

Tyly, I teach 1-5 special ed, in an MR program. The field trip was to a restaurant to eat for community integration. The kids had a great time.

I am starting to feel a bit better, I plan on doing LIGHT, LOW INTENSITY walking on the track today to get my 30 minutes to meet the exercise points.

Hi Amber

If in any way you are not up to it - leave it.

Our team can cope without the points. The main thing is that you look after yourself.

Take care

IRRITATED. ANGRY. BITTER.

A few words to describe my state of mind right now. Our decorating contest is today, and as I have been out of commission most of the week, my decorations were not done. So, I hurried home from work to finish them, only to find that the battery cases on EVERY set of battery operated lights I bought were broken. So, no lights. Meaning, in the dark you cannot even see that my wreath is decorated or that my ornaments have glittery scroll designs, etc. Argh.

I am so irritated at hobby lobby. I should have checked before now, as now it is too late to do anything about it.

Awwww damn. I'm sorry, dollface. I know how much you were looking forward to it also. I'd go ape shit on that hobby store the following day just because, well, I'm a bitch. haha! I hope the bleeding is slowing down a bit. Take your time with exercise and although I'm sure I don't have to say, but make sure to get lots of liquids and proper nutrition. Love yas, Amberdoll.

That sucks about your lights. Here's what I would do: Once I got lights that worked, I'd set them up in the shape of a hand giving the bird. Make sure the lady that copied your design from last year could see it. :D Merry f'ing Christmas...hahaha. That's why I'm on the Grinch Team. :smilielol5:

What's the tampon count looking like for today? Yeah, I'm morbidly curious like that. :sifone:

Okay, since I bitched about my lights I figure I might as well tell you the best thing about my week, too. Yesterday around 2 pm, freezing rain began falling. By 2:30 our cars in the school lot were covered in solid ice. One of the male aides, being a sweet, considerate guy, offered to take everyones keys, start their cars and defrosters and sit in his car and watch to make sure none of ours were stolen (just in case). He looked out the window while I got my keys and said "Someone is already out there scraping yours!"

I looked out the window, and sure enough, my sweet husband had driven over to my work after his class let out to scrape my windows for me before I had to leave!

He made my day, and made me feel totally loved.

Well, 12 is an improvement. :)

Your hubby is such a sweetie. Mine does that for me in the mornings sometimes--without being asked. :)
