Am I eating the rite foods?

Wanting to get feedback of the foods i eat through out the day. 1. Morning 8 am or so I start with two eggs and sausage or bacon, and glass of milk. 2. snack around eleven or so of non fat yogurt and raw nuts/dry unsweeten fruit/a piece of dice apple. 3. around one thirty or so raw vegetable salad and green lettuce w/balsamic vinegar or olive oil. 4. around three thirty or ham or turkey w/cheese roll up or four onzes of salmon or chicken breast. some times lean steadk. around five or so a banana or some type of fruit. Then hit the gym for cardio/light weights for an hour or two. 5. Whey protein shake. 6. an hour or so after protein shake light dinner fish/or chicken breast or lean beef. I work out hard at least four if not more a week. Suggestions, concerns, advise? Thank you:)

Egg whites are good. The yolks have a lot of cholesterol. Sausage and bacon is terrible for you if it's processed, which I'm assuming it is. Yogurt is terrible for you, it has a lot of sugar (unless organic). Do you do muscle groups when you work out, or do you do the same workout four times a week? (Same workout is BAD). Do you consume your protein shake directly after lifting or after cardio? (After lifting = good, after cardio = bad).

You have the right mindset, and you eat better than probably half the population, its just hard to eat healthy when so many foods are advertised as healthy, when in reality they are actually awful. I don't think your diet is bad by any means, but if you want to be more strict, you could eliminate some of the unhealthy items mentioned above--or even replace them with more organic foods.

Thanks for responding. I eat a nonfat yogurt , I believe it has no preservatives and also I can substitute the bacon/sausage. I do Muscle groups. I do consume protein shake after lifting and cardio. What should I consume after Cardio?

I think non-fat yogurt still have a lot of sugar in it. I could be wrong though. If you keep yourself well hydrated, you shouldn't need anything after your cardio.

Am I wrong by saying ditch the shakes, and get protine from foods. Are the shakes not loaded up with sugar and other crap?

Thanks for the response. I've been told that Whey protein retains your muscle mass, for I do mostly cardio and have loss weight. I only do light weights so Im not bulking up so much, but cardio is my fav.

The right foods

It sounds like you are eating a high amount of protein and animal protein at that. Why not try vegetarian sources of protein such as almond butter, beans, or tofu. You can't go wrong with adding more raw fruits and vegetables either;). I understand about wanting to build muscle with protein but red meats are not that good for the heart.
