Alright I've been working out for about 5 years now. I have a fairly good concept of weight training and diet. I do however have an ab question.
On most my workouts I work a specific muscle group once or twice a week (depending on my routine) and rest it. Following this routine I've been doing my abs once or twice a week depending on my routine. Since your abs are a muscle that needs rest to grow just like any other muscle how come a lot of people do their ab workouts 3-5 times a week and not overtrain? I'm thinking about turning up the heat a little in that department. I have a six pack but it could always be better
