Yes, I plan to do that this morning.Looking amazing, my friend! Maybe let your trainer have another look at your lifting form, just to be on the safe side
Thanks Cate, but I guess I never really feel like I've "got it", more a work in progress.Rob, you really do look great. I'm sure I'm not the only one enjoying you move into maintenance. You have got this.
Thanks Nelly, hard for me to imagine that I look "thin" or "thinner", first time in my life. I still am amazed every time I look in the mirror.woah you lost a lott of weight. can't recognize you from your old pfps. damn.
you don't even look your weight, you look thinner. lucky![]()
Thanks Vic, nice of you to say. I am feeling pretty good about it.Wow, you are looking great!!!
Thanks Err, and that is funny. The truth is I used to live on Alligator Drive in Alligator Point, Florida, and the ob is just from Rob. It was a fun address to have, got a lot of comments on it whenever I showed my driver's licence.Well done!
PS the lockdown probably has me a little rummy, but I am amusing myself imagining an alligator obstetrician...
Thanks Petal! I have already started buying new winter things, as I found them on sale this summer. Not that my "wardrobe" is very impressive, just a few new coats and jackets and some long pants (jeans). I do need a new suit and/or sports coat, if we ever start having face to face meetings again, will probably wait for that one.Well done rob . Do you need to go out and buy a whole new winter wardrobe now
Maybe I need to do the same with my shoulder, I don't want to I can feel my muscles are improving, but I don't want to do any damage to the shoulder. We'll see what the specialist says, until then I am going to be careful with exercises that stress it.Well a sports jacket is always a good addition to a wardrobe for a man I think .
sorry about the shoulder . Have you seen a physiotherapist. Mine did wonders last year for my heel . I had shoulder problems about 10 years ago . The pain was terrible . I had to stop Raised arm aerobics and decided to give it total rest . It worked . Not sure what problem was . Hope it’s better soon
Thanks LaMa, I think that is exactly my problem. I had a really bad bout of bursitis in that shoulder about 20 years ago, this feels much the same, not a bad yet and my objective is to keep it not as bad. I had x-rays done back then and the doctor showed me some bone damage from an old injury that was the cause, that same damage is probably still there.Shoulder problems are usually something like inflammation > swelling > impingement > pain > coordination worsening > more impingement, swelling, and pain. A week of rest won't hurt your muscles and will probably help. Sometimes that's enough, if not there's usually something off about your movements.
Thanks Petal, and I did get some rest today. I kept busy all day, but nothing like a gym workout.Sounds like a rest is a good idea Rob
I guess, but the integration seems to be going slowly. Not sure I was ever a full card carrying member of "normal society", or that its one of my goals now, LOL!I'm glad you had that burger patty, lean or not. Shows you're starting to reintegrate yourself into normal society.
That's about what we have, the last mowing is usually in October. A few left, but not many. All I have to do to make it dry here is turn the sprinkler system off... Bbq with the grandkids was fun. Will you have many more lawn cuts to do Rob . We probably have about 6 then maybe a November one if it’s dry .
And being an engineer from hurricane country I probably over built.
Thanks Cate, it was fun with the grandkids. Yesterday the 13 year old came back over and helped me with things. We got a good boat washing done, and I had him move the four wheeler (maybe you call them quads?) a couple of times. Apparently he had never driven one so it was fun.Glad you had a good time with the GK's, Rob. Love the canoe rack!
Yeah, beginning to sound like mine too! Not sure if you meant the rack comment the way it sounds to me, but you are pretty language savvy so you probably did. I got a good laugh out of it. Urban Dictionary: nice rackNow you sound like my dad. Also... nice rack.
Thanks Petal, the shoulder did hurt a bit but not too bad. I just remember how bad it got 20 years ago and fear a recurrence. So far not nearly that bad. That's a very impressive build Rob . Hope your shoulder did not irritate when building .
Guilty as chargedNot sure if you meant the rack comment the way it sounds to me
