Hey man, I just wanted to say that, as so many others have, I most def see major improvements. A friend of mine once pointed out to me years ago that we don't normally see noticeable change in our physique because we see ourselves all day, every day. Someone who sees you once a week/month though is gonna pick up on any change instantly. So just because you aren't feeling the changes don't look as dramatic, no one here is blowing smoke, it is noticeable. Keep it up man.
As for advice? Well I'm no pro by any stretch but some things I do know. First, building muscle will also raise your metabolism. Second, muscle weighs more than fat. You may not be looking to be ready for the next Mr. Universe but I have always firmly believed that heavy weight training should be a part of every one's regimen, especially males. Slam them plates hard would be my best offering and part of building muscle is plenty of the appropriate nutrients.
As for motivation. I always felt that the times I found my motivation lowest was the most crucial time for me to drag myself to the gym. Once I started missing workouts it just got easier to miss more and lose motivation that much quicker.
Best of luck bro. Keep at it!
