I will learn this failure (yes, i do consider it a failure) into a learning experience.
A little background about yesterday: i was out of my house til 730 in he morning and didn't get back until 1230 at nite. I had class from 9:00-4:00, then I had to drive from my house to tampa and back (and we stayed over there for a few hours).
I was tired of cereal in the morning, so I had a sandwich for breakfast. I shoulda calculate the sandwich calories that morning, but i didn't. I assumed it was gonna be 250ish, not knowing that the bread alone was 160 (180 calc a slice x2) and the cheese was 80 (bought new cheese, 80 cal a slice). In turn, 240 was the calories alone for 2 slices of bread and cheese (i estimated 50 cal each for the chicken breast and ham...(from deli) and came up with 340. and yes, no condiments, like miracle whip).
I had no idea a tuna sub was gonna be 600 flipping calories! My god, just because you eat at subway, you think its low calorie, but thats not the case. damn the daily special!
and yes, i know i ate fast food, but forgive me, i was on the road the whole day. I had no idea each biscuit was 120 calories each! i was thinking of 80ish. I made sure to peel off all the skin off the chicken breast, so it was aight.
I had to drink a diet mountain dew not only for energy (i was driving, sleepy) but because my mom didn't pack any waters in the cooler, only soda! (grr!) i'm still pissed i didn't get to drink enough water.
and i ate the ginger snaps when i came home out of greediness. i had such a long day, i just wanted a treat when i got home...
so if the estimates in my mind was true, the calories woulda been
750 (250 a sandwich x 2)
400 (tuna sub)
140 (banana)
600 (popeyes)
100 (cookies)
1990 calories.
I woulda still been over, but at least under 2000 (and not bad if you think about what kinda conditions i drove in)
but like i said, i will turn this horrible experience into a learning one. Changes i have made:
I will never buy a tuna sub again in my life
(notice I said buy...not eat)
will only eat 1 biscuit at popeyes
leave the cheese out on the sandwich
edit: i guess the cheese was good for my dairy intake. bah, w/e
