Yeah, you know it. I was SUPER surprised about the 188.8lb. I even ran back to my room, naked, got my glasses, and weighed myself again. DAYAM! I gotta keep this going!! Also, today my thighs are sore. Could it be from the running and the walk yesterday? Weird! I didn't go running this morning so I plan on going this afternoon before classes for sure. It is quite foggy today so hopefully the afternoon sun won't be so bad. I even pooed after meal 1! Greatness! Meal 1 was definitely quite heavy, I'm pretty full from all that protein. I pooed again like an hour later! I am super happy that I'm regular due to all that exercise. It must be a combo of good things: water, healthier foods, exercise...hehe loving it!

I really hope to keep this up. I'm going home tomorrow, so I'll weigh myself tomorrow morning and then again on Monday morning. On Saturday, I have a friend's wedding, so I hope to actually enjoy my meal that night!

I need to eat some fruit today so I'll have an apple and nectarine later today. If i don't eat them, they'll just rot! Can't have that happen. My thighs are KILLING ME, it was painful just walking around the mall!

After Meal 2, I'm stuffed with protein. Eck! OMG, after being in class for nearly 5 hours, I am exhausted. Truly exhausted! I don't have any hunger pains, probably due to the protein, but for metabolic sake, I should eat something! I did eat 1435 calories today! I needed to kill some last night hunger, and did so with that yogurt.

My thighs ache with every step I take, could it be because I stand on that half-round thing while I watch tv? Hmmmm ;) My abs hurt too...hehe

Honestly, I'm craving a burrito so badly! =( Going to sleep now y'all.

I'm so full I want to throw up. Don't hate don't hate...I got black beans and chicken in my burrito! I'm hella full though, man I hope those beans work to make me poo. Coddamn, I don't think I can eat for the rest of the day! I do want to go to the gym tonight tho, yay! =)

All those black beans should keep me full for like 6 hours! I'm happy I ate it early morning so I can exercise it out of it.

It's 5pm, and I still want to go to the gym, good news. The bad news is I'm pretty tired and wouldn't mind a little afternoon nap...it's kinda too late for one, but eh, why not. I'm also still full from the burrito, absolutely no hunger pains or headaches.


I ate 1650 calories today! No exercise, but I feel good. I plan on going bike riding tomorrow!

I still expect to lose a large amount of weight this first two weeks, since I'm not super obese (well, you know what i mean), I don't think I could lose like 30 pounds the first month. A pound a day. That is NOT my goal. It is my goal to lose that much in the first 15 days and then to slow it down.

My average daily weight loss has slowed down a LOT, but once I level off, I'd like to lose .4lbs/day. That's my goal as of the moment.

Day 1 - Day 15: 1lb/day
Day 16 and on: .4lbs/day

So, for the first 30 days, about 21 pounds please. That's quite alot. Let's not get overwhelmed here...

My short term goal is to not give up. Simply not give up. Take it a day at a time, don't go psycho-crazy with the calorie intake. Drink tons of water! My skin will thank me later...

I am currently working for 15 pounds in 15 days. The beginning water weight, shock weight, whatever weight it is.

I decided that one cheat meal per week would be sufficient. I don't think Popeyes is in my future on Tuesday, maybe the following Tuesday. My Monday-Thursday meals will consists of pork sirloin, veggies, and lean cuisine meals. I'm not too sure what'll be my next cheat meal. It's a bit too soon to decide that already.

I really wanted to go biking, since my bike is here, but i'm craving a nap before i start getting ready for the wedding.

So i ate 1700 calories today! I could've saved a few with the alcohol and the pasta salad, but I wanted to have a good time!! I drank enough water to be a camel...so overall, not so bad at all.

I pooed today before meal 1, but it was slimmy while coming out. Not the big D, nor the big C...weird, since I ate all those black beans in my burrito yesterday. We'll see.

I would love to see 185 on Monday morning, and if i want that, I have to exercise a LOT on Sunday and eat around 1000 calories. Let's do it! :grouphug:

I don't feel so bad with what I ate today. I really don't...I think mistakes will happen, but I didn't overstuff myself and I think that is the most important. I think once my schedule goes into full swing, I'll need to learn how to manage weight loss, (couponing), and school, and work!

After taking a large dump and eating 1 cup of honeydew, with clothes on I weighed in at 190.0....I'm not too happy. I ate 2100 calories today! I will need to exercise my ASS off today!

The last meal was "just because" Horrible. But tomorrow is a new day...


Mini goal: Let's see day 21! or 15 pound loss..whichever is first!!

I don't want to maintain my weight, I want to lose weight! So what is the point of exercising if i'm just eating all this crap? I really need to stop eating this crap!!!

Forget it. I'm going to bike to campus. I ate 3300 calories today, which is nowhere near my maintenance, but nevertheless, not low enough to see a loss on the scale. I will weigh in on Day 15. I am going to throw away that potato salad and cut up the other half of the watermelon.

Who cares if I exercise my ass off if I eat a crapload of food? =/

190 pounds, biking 14-16mph, 30 minutes burns 435 calories.

sounds like you are off to a great start! i love burritos too and have been trying to make a healthier version at home! keep it up.

I'm going to try just eating black beans with cilantro and see if that cures my mexican cuisine hunger..haha
 
I admit I want to see fast weight loss.

I admit I want to see quick results.

I admit I need to lose weight for my health.

Tomorrow is a new day. I truly need to incorporate more splurges, to prevent my binges. I do have to say I cut up the other half of the watermelon. I do need to shop for more veggies, I reckon I will go to Safeway tomorrow to pick some items up.

I want to lose weight so I need to stay focused. I want to fit into my clothes again as well...I can't get the image of my back fat out of my mind. It actually worries me.

I feel like I'm revamping my diet again, when it all should just be a journey. Waking up at 930am really threw me off, probably because I only slept 2 hours the night before. I'm happy that I admit my feelings and that I will get a good night's sleep.

Sorry to hear the food didn't agree with ya... been there. Ick, hate it. Just move beyond it, don't give up or get discouraged over some bad food, just eat super great and work out a little harder the next day. :)

I did a pretty damn good job at Sizzlers, I didn't go overboard with the wings...but I did finish my bowl of clam chowder! You can call it a cup, but damn two ladles of it is basically a bowl!! I used vinegar and balsamic vinegar as my salad dressing.

I opt to just drink a lot of fluids...it is pretty hot today. I want to just take a shower, do laundry, and write my 2 page paper!! =) I ate 1230 calories today! I honestly think I need a few low calorie days to really get the confidence to weigh myself.

Gotta 1) stay on track 2) learn from over-splurging! I want to average between 1200-1300 calories daily for next week! Woot woot! Let's do it.

I don't feel like biking or running in this hot weather, maybe later i'll have a surprise. I did poo today, but not a large load, I have hella rib eye in me!!! noooooo, I'll weigh myself the day after I do a big deuce!

I am very happy I saw 187.4lbs, but should be very cautious if I want to see more results!! Let's gooo! I love the fact how my stomach doesn't pooch out so much, but I can't suck it in as much as I want to, so I got ALOT of room to go!

I pooed today, but not a huge or sudden amount. It wasn't constipation style, but it was small...I wonder if my bowel movements are getting smaller because i eat little?

Halllllllllooooooooooooo I'm new here just read through your post and great work on what you have accomplished so far. Don't let the bad days get ya down! This is a lifestyle change, it has to suit you for the rest of your life so you can maintain it. I am taking things really slow. And btw your diet is like this: when it's healthier there isn't so much s**T (literally) in it so you're body absorbs alot of the goodies leaving not much to be processed at the end of the tunnel ;) The more junk you eat the more of it your body throws away. Take it as a good sign! ^^ Keep us informed!

I just took a poo and it slid right out, it was great! It was a medium size one, what I like to classify as normal! WAHOO!! I got super super drunk last night and am slightly hungover right now...but I am happy i 1) ate shrimp and 2) pooed.

I'm currently sipping on ice water because my pee this morning was super yellow. That isn't a good sign! I need more water!!

I pooed again in the afternoon and i might just be dehydrated because of that damn alcohol! I know i gotta keep sipping on water all day long. still not sure what else to eat because i am getting a little hungry.

My weekly goal is to eat less than 9,000 calories this week...so I know tomorrow's bbq might do some damage. and last night's alcohol took me south!!!

I need some frozen meals, zucchinis and squash, baby carrots, bell peppers, and some fruit. I have a like 8 pork sirloin pieces and eggs that can be my protein source. I also want to buy some cilantro for my blackbeans, mmmm...I'm getting hungry already. My weekly spending budget is $50, so I can't go over!!

I weighed myself this morning after drinking a fresh juice and with my clothes and on my home scale i was 187. That gives me tons of hope that in reality i'm like mid 185. Woohoo *high five*

I ate 2510 calories today! WOW. Enough calories for TWO days! Are you serious?! Obviously no cheat meal for awhile!! It certainly was an eating feast...I was doing really well until Meal 2 and Meal 3...=( I got bored. and decided to just keep eating.

1. At least I'm being honest..
2. I drank SO MUCH water, and peed 4 times while at the park.
3. I am going to the gym tonight. The gym tonight was awesome, but I feel like I didn't sweat as much as I could have...also, the effort wasn't 8 out of 10, rather like 6 out of 10, at least i came out with beads of sweat at the nap of my neck...I wanted to last 60 minutes, and at my weight with the effort i put in, i'm sure i burnt 600 calories! I'm happy i went to the gym to counteract some of today's bbq feast, i hope i poo tomorrow!! My goal of going to the gym wasn't exactly to burn calories but to rev up my metabolism.

I hope to pee alot! I am not OMG TOO FULL, but full. Like a 4 out of 5, which is still damn full. I hope to poo tomorrow =)

Day 21 is my next official weigh-in. Let's get on it. 183? 182? Come on, roll roll off...

I want to start Bikram, but need to figure out how to squeeze that in my budget....

Last time, when I went crazy with the ribeye, I went crazy for 3-4 days, which then took 3 days to get back to my weight. I WILL NOT mess up tomorrow, which means that, I hope to still be less on day 21. I plan on exercising tonight, tomorrow morning and evening. Was it worth it? I think so...

Week 3 thoughts..

1. My goal is to eat less than 9,000 calories this week. Quite a jump from last week, but that's one way I know for sure I will lose at least a pound this week.

So I consumed roughly 6,000 and have 3,000 left for 3 days...it sounds a lot smaller than it really is.

I need a lot of watermelon! Also, I feel like exercise will make an impact, but it won't if i keep eating a lot of crap. Although tonight, I just want to get my body moving, like stationary bike for an hour...and jog for 30 minutes...THAT'S exactly what I did.

This week, I'll consume like 9,000 calories this week, and maybe next week, I'll drop it down between 8,400-9,000 calories.

2. I felt pretty thin this morning. Like I wore a shirt that was kinda tight, like one of those workout shirts, but i felt pretty thin so why not right? Too bad after i ate i was super bloated looking! But all in all, I know that my new lifestyle change and choices are making a difference!

3. I can't wait 'til I see 179.8lbs! So on Day 21, I'd like to see 183.
I wonder what week 4 will have for me....Day 28, give me 179.8lb, 12 days, 8 pounds? doesn't sound realistic, but a girl can dream and try!

I ate 2190 calories today! I am full AND drank 14 cups of water today! Wahoo! It definitely feels like I ate more food because the shawarma was just so delicious!

I am itching to go to the gym again tonight...I gotta make it happen!!

I really want to sign up for a 5k but I have to train some because I want a good time. I think doing 10k would be great. Doing one a month sounds solid but yeah I should slowly ease into it. I'm thinking as soon as next month

I'm going to drink much more water today and can't wait to see 183!
