I joined this site in 2007, and since joining I've gained 20 pounds. I've had TWO journals, lost and gain, and now I'm back, like really back, since I'm closer to 200 pounds than 150 pounds. Quite disgusting. At least my fat hasn't dimpled or hang...too much

I wanted to start this journal after realizing I need a place to write my menu and my exercise logs. I ate mac and cheese, crackers, and a cheese wedge at 9pm. Fatty for sure!

Groceries are pretty set. I have lettuce, chicken breast, whole wheat bread and crackers, turkey meat, and healthy frozen meals. I got light Yoplaits and nectarines AND baby carrots to munch on.

I vow to never use the word "serious" or any derivative of that word..because c'mon, aren't we all to be taken seriously?

Wow, has anyone checked my signature? How wack is that! That basically tells you how long it's been!! I started this morning solid! I actually COOKED my meal! I didn't even use the microwave! GASP! Right??I like the format of my previous diet entries because I like to be organized and easily readable, so here it goes...

Day 1
Weigh-In: 198.8lb @ 1030am without clothes
Water Intake: 10 cups

Meal 1: 11am
2 cups romaine hearts, 2 tbsp light ranch dressing, 10 cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup sliced mushroom, 10 slices orange bell pepper, 7oz chicken breast
Meal 2: 2pm
1 Yoplait whipped chocolate yogurt, 6 cherry tomatoes, 1 banana, 4 deli turkey slices, 1 laughing cow wedge, 6 whole wheat crackers
Meal 3: 6pm
3oz chicken breast, 2tbsp light ranch dressing, 6 cherry tomatoes, 1 cups romaine hearts, 1/2 cup sliced mushroom
Meal 4: 10pm
2 slices wheat bread, 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese, 1 banana, 1/2 yoplait light yogurt

I think each of my meals average out to 400 calories, so I ate 1600 calories today! Not so bad...I mean in one sitting last week, I ate 6 legs & thighs from Popeyes...

Honestly, Tuesdays are going to be hard!

I really need to UP my exercise, but with how lazy I am, walking is sufficient. For me to do quick-movement exercises (i.e. increase speed) that'll take ALOT more energy..

Have you tried the weight watchers cheese wedges? They're like the laughing cow only come in better flavors.

I think trying to learn new fun recipes that are healthy is a fun way to change your diet routine. Try something simple and new, and good luck!

Hey girl! What kind of microwave stuff do you eat?? I've never tried that WW cheese wedge, but i'll keep an eye out for it!

To let y'all know, i am an avid couponer, so you guessed it! those cheese wedges were on sale and i had a coupon for them!

The chicken breast was marinating in terriyaki sauce for like 24 hours and WOW i didn't know it'd make such a yummy difference! it was really good!!!

i felt like a rabbit eating my first meal, so i definitely need to incorporate some recipes to make healthy food!

Meal 3: 4pm
same as Meal 2

Snack 2: 730pm

1 bags of carrots

Meal 4: 9pm
6oz salmon sashimi and *some other fish*, 3oz sirloin, 5 dumplings, fruit in jello cup cal est: 600


Exercise
50min walk around the neighborhood

So I consumed about 2200 calories today! :leaving: I shouldn't have eaten so many dumplings and that fruit in jello cup. But I plan on being super active tomorrow so I hope it all balances out over the weekend! I'll weigh myself on Day 5.

Tomorrow i'll be holding a garage sale for my stockpile stuff, so I hope to be more active than I usually am! With work and school picking up next week (finally!), my BMR should be at least burning 500 more calories per day. yayuh!

Try all spice on that chicken front and back and cook in microwave for 7 minutes. All most like it was fried. One day a atime. Good luck.

I tried to cook my chicken breast in the microwave for 6 minutes, and wow! it came out moist! Sure beats the burnt smell house on the stove! My chicken breast was marinated in soy sauce so that made it taste really good.

I gotta pick up spices at the store so that'll wait!

Extremely low calorie day, I had a few bites of a homemade oatmeal cookie and a bite of a fig, so roughly 800 calories today! I had a super busy day and man, getting ready to go out was tough! I came home early and slept really well. I did a garage sale for four hours and then went to go buy a bike. Man, was I pooped! But a good friend's birthday dessert bar event, how could I say no? A friend is a friend!

Activity level going up! yay! I started my period last night, which super sucked!!!! I don't want to weigh myself but I will Monday night.

My throat has been hurting for the past day so I will be drinking some tea to ward off this oncoming cold. I hope I don't get sick! I really need to stay active and get ready to start subbing again. I could start potentially on Tuesday which is really exciting because I do need the money. Paperwork MUST be done on Monday. I have plenty of phone calls to make!

I am drinking some tea in hopes to flush all the salt from the mexican food! Also, a great way to increase water intake! :) Double wammie! I ate 1400 calories today!

I drank a LOT of tea today, I was curious about my weight and even though I feel bloated I weighed myself and was pleasantly surprised. I took a black poo today, and man, it must've been all the bad stuff that has been inside of me all this time!

My short term goal is to see 179.8lb, I'm just not too sure by when. I know that I want to level out before I start putting a date to my goals because I know this first month is going to be fast.

Tomorrow, I got chicken breast and lettuce ready to eat. Also I got peaches and figs ready for consumption. Tomorrow should be a good day. Although I will be going out I believe! Not to drink, but to hang out with people!

Tuesday? I do plan on getting some Popeyes, just less chicken and eat it without the breading.

NEVER EVER eat one big meal. I am left STARVING. I dare say I woke up with a small dizzy spell, but I might be dreaming. That Meal 2 from yesterday SHOULD'VE been separated by a few hours. I am hungry, but gotta run, so going to get some yogurt, granola bars, and baby carrots to last me until I can sit down and relax.

I know my weigh in today was because I was super starving, but NOT because I was dehydrated. *whew* So I don't feel too bad, but I still do. I learned my lesson! Doesn't matter how good the burrito looks IN THE MOMENT, always divide it into two!

Snackl 1: 11am
nature valley granola bars, baby carrots cal est: 225

Meal 1: 1pm
7oz chicken breast, 1 cup romaine lettuce, 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms, 9 cherry tomatoes, 2 tbsp olive oil vinegar dressing cal est: 450

Meal 2: 5pm
6 wheat crackers, 3 slices of turkey deli meat, 1 laughing cow wedge, 2 slices of wheat, 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese cal est: 425

Meal 3: 7pm
1 shrimp spring roll, 2 cups of vietnamese shrimp salad (cabbage, 8 shrimp, 2 tbsp of fish sauce dressing) cal est:300

Snack 2: 11pm
2 shrimp spring roll cal est: 100

I consumed 1500 calories today! I really think that's just right for my current body weight and I didn't do jack snap today! I took like a 2 hour nap, and lounged around--eugh. What is so great about Meal 3 is that I didn't need to eat something really heavy cause I ate out, but the salad tasted REALLY good. I always correlated a heavy meal with going out because eating out is a celebration, but NO WAY. It's great. I felt no shame ordering that salad either. It was quite delicious! I am sure my weight loss has slowed down.

Tomorrow is Tuesday. Tuesday = Leg and Thigh for .99 at Popeyes! I'm going to go check out the nutritional value and eat accordingly. I also am craving the ice cream I have in the freezer due to this hot weather, but i'm trying to hold off. I might just have yoplait whipped yogurt to cure the craving.

There's a LOT of salt in Meal 3, so I'm kinda scared to weigh myself. At least I drank 12 cups of water today.

Looks like you're still on track! Doin great- just make sure to be careful of those super low cal days :) Amazing, isn't it, how when we eat the right foods its takes SO much more of them to equal the calories we're allowed? I miss some of the fattier foods I useta eat, but I know that my 1300cal plate of fettucine alfredo from OG would NOT keep me full :rolleyes: lol!

Yep, I gotta be careful of low calorie intake AND how many meals I take in cause man, one big meal a day is SO bad!!!

I would LOVE to go for a walk later!! It's 5pm and 106 degrees. WTH right? This is crazy. I'm about to go to dinner with a friend and the movies. Just like yesterday, planning to stay low cal on my meal. Who knew that shrimp was so low cal?! I think we might go to a Thai restaurant, I really want payaya salad. After going to the movies and what not, it'll be like 10pm. I do need a walk though....

I think my weight loss has slowed down, due possibly because I didn't exercise enough yesterday so my metabolism has slowed down. I'm going to take a walk/jog today. It is suppose to be a hot day today, so I'll definitely take a walk in the evening.

I had 1550 calories today! Drinking a lot of water makes me feel better about it because I used to do this and DEHYDRATE myself. How dumb, right? Tomorrow I'm going to eat around 1200 calories today and weigh myself the day after and see how that works out. I start school tomorrow so i definitely plan on exercising my brain to burn some calories!

Walk didn't start today...I might go make the drive to the gym tomorrow to bump my metabolism. I didn't poo today.

^ I jogged and walked, jogg for a block, walk for half a block, man I am sweating!
45 minutes of walking (~2miles)

I decided that I won't weigh myself today because I just drank water. Sometimes, I'm too lazy to weigh myself in the morning because I have to get naked, and then put my clothes on, especially if i'm not going to take a shower.

I need to poo. I need to be regular, but I don't have the urge. =( Even with the beans yesterday...
YAY I POOED AT 10:45AM! Maybe the running and Meal 1 totally made me poo, but whatever it was, i'm happy I did! YAY! Metabolism is UP and RUNNING!

The evening walk was pretty nice....I didn't sweat much at all, but I definitely felt my leg muscles working! Woohoo. I ate 1100 calories today! With the poo, morning run, evening walk, AND low calories, I seriously hope to see some weight loss tomorrow. I am sipping on my last cup of water for the day...

Aww thanks Jess! I usually fall off the wagon, so I'm trying to stay really motivated and on top of this!

I think it's a good thiing I didn't weigh myself today, it couldn't deteriorated my stamina with all this healthy stuff! :reddevil:
 
Trust me, I COMPLETELY understand... Thats the biggest reason for me being on this site every day, 10 times a day :rolleyes: As soon as I'm off of it for more than a day or two, I hit the snacking and junk way hard. Effff. Stick around- it helps :)
