Yes, our prayers are with the Stafford family. Let's hope our "Justice System" actually does something right, for a change, and hangs the buggers out to dry.

BTW, I work as a medical transcriptionist, writing out reports of every kind you can imagine. It is SO interesting! I love it. But a learning curve changing from the Office to home.
My
eyes are recovering from the procedure, but slower than I had hoped. No, they did NOT stick a needle in my eye! Ewww!!! They just use numbing drops to freeze them. I had Lasik done in one eye (where they make a slit) and in the other I had PRK, which is when they dissolve the top portion of the epithelium. I felt nothing during the procedures.
As for my
daughter, yes she was just diagnosed March 27 with juvenile diabetes (AKA type 1). I don't think this much pain is normal; they suspect that she has some other autoimmune issues going on, as diabetes is an autoimmune disease. We are going to Children's Hospital shortly to get some tests run. It is a hard time for us all.
Imagine my HORROR when I finally stepped on the scale this morning (first time in a couple of weeks) and it said I was up to 160 lbs!!! OMgosh, that just about made me faint. But it's a good thing I found out in time to reverse the trend! I am not overly surprised: stress + broken treadmill + steep learning curve with diabetes and now working at home, etc. + not watching my food = BIG FAT WEIGHT GAIN!!!
So today I started writing down all my food intake again. I do also suspect that our scale is a tad off, or that I may be retaining some; but not that much! I am starting boot camp at the right time, that's for sure!
Watch this space for updates...or should I say downdates, as I shrink some more
Cheers
