A Skinnier Me

BLAHBLAHBLAH

Ughhh, I've been on college tours since Tuesday, and therefor have been staying at hotels which don't have gyms and haven't been able to exercise since Tuesday morning! Also, I have to eat out so much since I'm not home to cook anything up! I feel so gross with all this eating out, and I just know I've been gaining weight!! Luckily, I brought my trusty, delicious rice crackers with me, so at least my munchies have been held at bay.

Anyways:

7/29/10

9:30-10:30
-Rice Cracker
*90 calories
-Latte+small chocolate
*200 calories

12:00
-yogurt land ( I know... :( but, I only had a itsy tiny bit)
*150 calories

1:30
-pita bread/hummus
*151 calories

3:30
-meat kabob/rice (split a plate with my mom)
*300 calories?

7:30
-teriyaki beef/rice/a little salad
*400 calories?

for a total of 1,260 calories, though I think I estimated some wrong, I feel heavier than that. Though when I think about it, I ate small servings so maybe it is the right amount?

Also, the hotel I'm currently in has a 24 hour gym...already 9 at night and I don't think I have it in me...blah. I'll wake up early tomorrow morning and try to get a good workout going.

Have a nice night!

i just realized how young you are from when you said college is still a long way to go, i'd advice you to get more nutrient in, you just don't eat enough! and u're still growing!! :D

Yes, I am rather young (only going to be a junior in high school to be honest :blush5:) But, I have reason to be concerned about my weight. My dad's side is GREAT health-wise. Skinny-medium build, no diabetes, fantastic blood pressure. But, my mom's side has a history of being overweight, SUPER high blood pressure and diabetes like crazy. I know that once my metabolism slows down and I get off track, it will be all downhill! That's why I'm trying to start early with staying healthy and thin, but I agree with the need to eat more nutrients! Thanks for the feedback, though! I really appreciate it!

Haven't posted for a while... been eating around 1200-1500 calories a day, which is still under my maintenance level by a decent amount, but I should try harder to keep them away from the 1500+ range

Today has been rather good so far! I've been getting up extra early, before my sister or parents are awake, and jog down to my gym which is about a mile away.

Today:

8/1/10
exercise: jogged down to the gym, did the elliptical for 35 minutes, machine called "tradclimber" for 15, and walked on a high slope on a treadmill for 35 minutes (can't run on them, kills my knees :()

Calories add up to 667 burned, but I dont count them into my diet, more of a bonus to the amount I consume. So far, so good!

Food:
6:00
-1/2 cup quaker oatmeal
*165 calories

10:00
-small cup coffee w/ half slice of a see's candy chocolate :)
*70 calories

hope the rest of the day goes well!

7:00-9:00
-couple bites of lava cake+coffee icecream
*190 calories
-one bite of a cream puff
*45 calories

I was SO full by the end of the day, so I was shocked when my total came up to 1,107 calories. I guess it was just that I had only a few bites of sweets, it's nice to have control over my body's cravings.

Long time no post, I've been super busy and am on vacation in Hawaii!

It's hard to diet in Hawaii, but I've been doing pretty well so far!

Basically my rough calculations are around 1300 calories each day, but I need to be super careful because I'm not doing any real exercise...

I'm nervous for going back hone and weighing myself, hopefully I won't have let myself go during the two weeks when I can't weigh myself!

Wow, it's been a while since I posted!

I'm back from hawaii, weighed myself and came out as 125. I was alright with it, seeing that for going on vacation and hardly gaining anything is a feat :D.
The weird thing is, the next ay I weighed myself and was 123 o.o. Ever since then I've been sticking to around 1300 calories a day, and have gone down to 122. Once I hit 120, I think I'm going to start maintaining instead. Already I feel like my legs have gotten skinnier and my stomach is flat so I feel confident going to the beach with friends now! :)

So far today:

9:00
1/4 cup oatmeal w/ tsp brown sugar, milk, and cinnamon (the most delicious breakfast I've ever had. I seriously have this at least twice everyday)
130 calories

11:00
Coffee and small piece choco
70 calories

12:30
canned beef soup
only 260 calories, but pretty high in sodium... VERY filling!

1:30
had an urge for icecream, but barely had any, so i'm happy :)
130 calories

currently at 600... not really sure how many calories I should be aiming for but I think I'll try for around 1300-1400 on days when I don't exercise!
