Would like to know what it's all about before i decide to spend alot of money i dont have ya know!! Do you like it as good as the kickboxing?? Hope you have a great day tomorrow!!

Hope Your Doing Great Girlfriend I Bet You Will Love The Ww I Love It More And More Of Us Are Getting Into Ww Wooooooohoooooooooo We Are Gonna Rock This Summer You Can And Will Do This Girlfriend!

Thanks for stopping by, everyone!! I appreciate it.

Do you think I've started the WW? Um ... no. I don't know why I'm so intimidated by it all!! I've been trying to sort through the stuff that HH and Cassie have sent me (the nutty sisters!) It's like another part time job!

Anyhow, regarding spin. It's Cycle. It's great!! I love it. A total kickass work-out. The Thurs. instructor does 3-5 lb weights about 25 min. in (biceps, triceps, etc.) and abs at the end. God! What an amazing work-out!!! In case you're curious, here is my weekly work-out schedule:

Mon - nothing (I work)
Tue - 1 hour step/sculpt; 35 min. on the treadmill (only because that's how long it takes me to run 3 miles)
Wed - kickboxing
Thur - Cycle/Spin (the one that combines abs and weights)
Fri - nothing (I work)
Sat - Cycle/Spin (not as good a work-out as the other class) + 35 min. on treadmill
Sun - I'm hoping to add kickboxing (with a different instructor ... twice a week with Dr. Attention Whore would drive me batty!) This class is more like Tae Bo (sp?)

Hey - Christina - I love Spin! It's a great work-out, but different than KB. Some people don't like it because they say it makes the butt big. I think that's only for people who start out emaciated! I can't imagine my butt getting BIGGER from any form of exercise!!!!

Food for today ...
B: Kashi and coffee
L: Bagel and n/f cream cheese; n/f iced latte
D: 4 pieces of sushi; 1/3 C. white rice; 1 gyoza; diet root beer; VERY small brownie (I know - someone needs to slap me!)

Right now I'm dying to have a bowl of cereal - I'm so hungry!!!!

OK - In HH's diary, she mentioned someone who commented on her legs. How much do you all HATE people commenting on your weight loss beyond, "Wow! You look great!" Period! Comments need to stop right there!!!!!

My sis asked me how much I'd lost. I told her 24 lbs. She said I look good, don't need to lose more, and asked how much more do I want to lose. I said, "16 more." She said, "That's too much." My dear mother (who I adore) said, "Yes - that seems about right. She has a lot of excess weight in her stomach. And a bit here, and here ...." ERG! I wanted to slap her and go eat a huge chocolate sundae just to show her!!!!!! So annoying.

Then today at work right in front of me my work colleagues DEBATED whether they thought I needed to lose 5 or 10 lbs. more. Granted, they were trying to compliment me by saying that 16 was too many more to lose, but still!!!!! I hated it!!!!!!!! I'm their boss, for goodness sakes!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent that!! HH's post got me thinking.

OK - it's a new day!
I did one hour of Spin class.

B: 2 eggs and 2 tortillas (way too much - I'm stuffed!) + coffee
S: 2 slices apple

That's it so far. Dinner at my parents' tonight. It'll be healthy, though, my mom's a total health nut.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Your doing great...dont let other people discourage you...you make your own goals for a reason...to feel good about yourself..you dont have other people make goals for you so that you can make them happy! Keep it up!

Hey! At least people are noticing that you've lost weight! ;) Your food is looking great! That spin class earned you a lot of activity points, so you could definitely go over your 20 points for the day! :D

MO2, don't let the "work" scare you off!! It really does get to be a lot easier and less of a "pain". I promise you'll get to where its second nature :D
BTW, you betcha on "the nutty sisters!" :D

Mothers will be mothers and we aren't gonna change 'em as much as we'd love to sometimes  That WAS really insensitive from all except sis - that was really sweet! :D Absorb what your sis said and filter the rest (hey, we "filter" SPAM right???) :D DON'T eat that sundae!!!!! Employees should be docked $5- 10 in pay each time they debate the bosses weight - what do ya think?? LOL I say go for it!!!!

You are doing GREAT Laurel, don't let those "nasty/trying to help" comments get ya!!!! Hope you are having a great weekend :D

Hey there! I'm gonna call tomorrow to get some more info on the spin class thing.. I'm actually thinking about joining the gym and dropping curves that way i can have a more variety of equipment.. and I can swim :D Anyway your doing great! Hope you have a good week!!

Hey! I must have completely missed that post. Don't feel alone. I feel very intimidated by the whole point counting thing too. And since I still don't get around very well, I am always having to ask hubby or the kids to bring me the package of something or read off the stuff on it, so I can check to see how many points it is. What I did was eat what I normally do for a few days, and then tried to figure out how many points it was, before I actually started trying to stay within the points. And don't forget, there are several people trying it on here so you can always get support and questions answered. :D

Hi all!
Food for the rest of the day yesterday:
L: Turkey meatballs; tom sauce; a tiny bit of angel hair pasta.
D: Meatloaf; a tiny bit of mashed pots; a lot of steamed broccoli (yum); 3 bits of a roll; Here's the bad news ... one slice apple pie and vanilla ice cream. (someone needs to slap me!!!!)

Food for today:

1.5 eggs and 1.5 corn tortillas; coffee

I'm going to a reception this afternoon and I've got chili cooking in the crock pot for dinner. It's pretty healthy: ground turkey, vegies, spices, and beans pretty much. I love it! It's going to start getting hot here soon, so I need to make my yummy soup and stew recipes before they won't be appetizing anymore.

Hey! Did you get that email I sent you? It had all those links to a WW support place and a points calculator that you can download or just use online.
