A new start for MommyOf2!!

I'm so sorry I've been MIA! I just have had such time management trouble lately. Just not enough hours in the day, you know? I had to cut out internet time (other than glancing at emails) and reading books. Trying to fit in extra work-out time and organize our life. *sigh* I've been at it a week and have made very little progress.

Anyhow, I am stuck at 161. In April I have a plan to work out 5 x's a week and will be very strict about 1500 calories per day. We'll see if I can get out of this 161 slump. I only worked out 2-3 times a week in March. Not good.

So sorry to have bailed out on all of you! I just can't seem to juggle two kids, a part time job, this diet, and my extended family who seems ever so needy lately. And I'm working on a City Council campaign!! I forgot that one. A good friend is running. We managed to get our other friend elected 2 years ago so successfully that now we want another young, hip female on the Council. Fun!!
 
Oh hey gal!! Sorry things are so hectic for you!! But you seem like you are getting it under control and thats good. :) Sometimes you and your sanity comes before working out. I am sure in April you'll get it all down to a good schedule.. :) but int he mean time and after that, we are here for you when ya need to pop in and vent or anything else!! Glad you're doing OK though!! :D

I had a good day today except I didn't make the gym.
B: Kashi and coffee
L: Low carb PB on one slice wheat bread; 4 strawberries; rice cakes
S: Light popcorn (no butter); protein bar
D: Baked turkey meatballs and angel hair pasta; diet root beer
S: Milk (N/F) w/ protein powder

Tons of water.

I hope you're having a good day! :D You know I was thinking, you might be motivated by wearin g a pedometer too, to see how many steps you can fit in chasing the kids around ont he days you can't make it to the gym! :) I know its hard to get there being a mom and having a busy household!! Just a thought for some more motivation for you. :) You're doing great!!

OK - HH! I'm wokring on starting the whole points thing. I have to get to our other computer where the printer is and I can't use that one when the girls are awake. And last night I had my book group. Excuses, excuses, huh?

I was very bad last night at my book group! 1.5 brownies, 1/2 slice of banana bread, AND 1 chocolate diipped strawberry. What was I thinking???

Back on track today! Off to Spin class!!!!!

Chris - regarding Kickboxing. It is a fantastic workout! I'm getting pretty fed up w/ my obnoxious instructor. He's such an attention-whore! He makes snide comments throughout the class about all of us and I just can't stand him. But what a great work-out!! LOL! Let me know if you try it.
 
Hey M02, you're doing great..as for your book club.. c'mon, those were tiny things. Be proud you didn't eat MORE. :) At least... thats how I used to be!!!
