A new start for Iwan

Randy, twice in one day? you animal!

I think I am starting the inevitable transition into bloating that starts a few days after ovulation. Why? Because I feel bloated, and I want to eat everything in sight that contains sugar. Not that I'm going to, I just want to. Although, PMS can't even ruin my good mood today. I asked Radio boy out on a date and he said YES and he said he was going to ask me out but I beat him to it. *happy dance*

Yesterday was a calorie bust, I went over by about 100 cals because I made such a good dinner I couldn't get enough of it. I made pan seared chicken breast w. garlic, rosemary and white wine, brown rice, butternut squash and green bean and beet salad. My son hated it and I basically had to force feed it to him but I loved it. And it was a pretty darn low cal dinner too, if I hadn't had extra brown rice and chicken. Now that I think about it I probably could have combined the green bean and beat salad with the brown rice and that would have been good too.

My mom retired a few weeks ago, which has really been a godsend for me since my babysitter has been pretty unreliable since she got knocked up (morning sickness and all). Anyways, with all her free time she has taken up the hobby of baking. Last night when I picked my son up from her house she had 5 loaves of whole wheat bread in the oven and she sent one home with me. Wow, it smells good, I haven't had a change to break into it yet though. Lets hope she finds a less caloric hobby soon.

Carnal foruming. I had a weak moment.

Forgive ??

I wasn't complaining!

Guess what! I get to move my ticker today because....I'm down 2 lbs! yeah! 180's here I come!
Yesterday I was sick. Poor me. Sinus thing, headache and when I stood up to get out of bed yesterday morning I blacked out so I called in sick and stayed in bed most of the day. I was online but I didn't come here because I was trying to firm up my plans to go to medical school. I don't know if I want to go into a nursing program or actually bite the big one and go to be a doctor. nursing I can do in 3 years, doctor...it'll take me alllooooot longer.
At any rate, going back to school means I'll be moving away from my island paradise and joining the world of the civilized. Ick!

I awoke this morning to a wonderful surpise, I'm now in the 180's. sure, its just 189 and for all I know it could just be for today...but still...I love the downward trend. My weekend was really great also. I went out with radio guy and we had a blast. We went to an open mic coffee house and then a pub crawl for st. patricks day (he's irish, and very patriotic...lol).

On sunday I took my son swimming and even though I didn't actually do any laps I still got a good workout, the slide was on :) My friend Mel came with her husband and they brought their 6 kids (yes, six, and they are all very rabunctious and all of their names start with D's). At any rate, catching kids at the bottom of the slide was my job. We call it the atomic wedgie slide.

I feel like I ate like a pig all weekend, but it couldn't have been that bad if I'm still losing. Thats why it was surprising. At the bars on saturday night I drank only water. Someone had to be designated driver and it sure as hell wasn't radio guy or his brother, who we call "flash" after his alcohol consumption led him to breakdance on a dirty wet dance floor.

Anywhoo...thats my update. I'm off to galavant through everybody's diaries.

Howdy IWAN,
Congrats on 180's your right on my trail!
Your doing great,I love swimming I can't wait until the
heatwave comes in we are suppose to get King's Island
Passes and they have an awesome water park up there.
I wanted to join a sports complex for that reason to swim,
I am not the best swimmer but I love to do it. My sis N law has an oval shaped above ground pool and we used to walk around the pool several
times until our legs felt like spaghetti and I swer that works great for losing
weight and getting the leggs shaped.Have a nice day Tammy

I do love swimming, even if your not moving around you are buring cals cause your freezing your hoo hoo off...lol. Our pool has a heated kiddie pool section, if you go in the deep end where its super cold and stay there for a half hour treading water and then get in the kiddie pool it feels really warm.

Wooooo Hoooo is right!

Great job Iwan kicking those 9's!! I tell ya, each breakout feels like such a huge accomplishment, doesn't it?

And you're right - it's that downward progression! It rocks!
:)

Okay, Goddess, whats up? *shakes fist at sky* I am a bad luck charm. Everybody stay away from me because if you don't you'll break a bone. Seriously. The last guy I asked out broke his ankle, radio guy wrecked his car last night on his way to my house for dinner and broke his collar bone and his nose. once...a coincidence, twice...a curse. DAMN MY CURSED SOUL! Thats all I could think about all night. If it hadn't been for me he never would have been driving on icy snowy roads to come to my house for a crappy dinner. I should quarentine myself away from cute guys before I ruin them all irretrievably.

Now, now...

It's NOT you!
If it happens a 4th time, it might be you - but not a second!
