A new stage of the journey

ok, does anybody want to swap their cold weather for my stinking hot weather :(

it is 39C (102 F) in the shade on my verandah, it is to hot to do anything. argh I HATE THE HEAT
 
Trus- I'd move to Aussie Land any day over spending a miserable snowy winter in Canada!!

How do you like the idea of -25C wind chills? :D

I love the summer but I totally hate when it gets too hot, too! I feel like during the winter, at least when it gets cold, you can layer on a lot of cute clothes and scarves. In the summer, you can only take off so much clothing before it's inappropriate. :)

Stay in the shade! :)
 
I wish there was a place in the world that was always 75F. I feel like that is my optimal temperature. Not too hot, not too cold. All four seasons always a nice 75...

Try San Fransico.... It's pretty much 70ish all year long. :) But, you do have to put up with all those Californians!! :D It's like a separate country out there!! ;)

LOL I know! I went to LA and I felt like I was on a different planet! That is too funny!
 
Didn't make it into the gym this morning, I didn't sleep well due to the heat, when the tem finally dropped to around 73F at about 3 am or so. slept in and with the restricted gym hourd and the drive to town going to the gym is not an option. I will do a bit of a workout on the Wii later (it is right under the Air Con unit )

I would agree that LA is definitely a whole separate planet.

todya the forcast is for hot again it is not even 8:30 am yet and the temp is 84F

the only good thing about the heat is that it kills my appetite.

OMG I would trade with you in a heart beat.However I think we are the two extreme opposites.I has been crazzzzy cold over here in B.C...The coldest weather we have ever experienced.

I find it funny, you are complaining abt the horrible heat as we are lterally freezing our asses off!:D

I drop in a read alot but dont post often, dunno why.

Your work out kick ass as usual...The boys are so handsome:)You lifting are cool pics!


 
So sorry it's that hot, I HATE weather over 80! BLEH--unless I'm at the beach :) Then it can be 90 :)

Thanks so much for posting in my diary, it is great to have the support. I am the same with the heat, it is muggy and suffocating here, makes it hard to do anything...and sleep is not easy. Our temp is not anywhere near yours though, probably 31 or 32c...maybe slightly higher.

At least the heat does squash the appetite a little....I no when it is cold I am so much more tempted to seek comfort food.

This year is going to be a GREAT YEAR! We're going to reach that goal!
 
just checking in, my food has been ok and training is doing ok, not much else to report. the weather has cooled down and has bee quite comfortable the last few days maxing at around 30 - 35 C.
 
ok workout today

Measurements taken - BF % down, weight down, waist down, bicep and thigh up

3 minute fitness test on stairmaster lvl 11 - Result Execelent (improved from above average)
20 minutes stairmaster lvl 10
Abs and rotator cuff workout

Food - Fair but drank a can of soft drink (soda)

Still feeling bloated with TOM
 
Are you in the 6 week challenge? Thought I saw your name floating around!!

Food - so far so good

Exercise -

10 minutes cardio climber
30 minutes stairmaster (lvl 10, 5 minutes lvl 11)

Heavy Weight day

will hit the Wii fit for a while later
