A new stage of the journey

still not 100% but have done a little walking this morning and half an hour on the heavy bag, I should by studying but just can't get my head into it this morning. I am so nervous about this weekend, i had never envisioned myself as an aerobics instructor and learning to do choriography is giving me nightmares arrrg, I just dont feel confident in front of groups but put me 1 0n 1 with someone in the weights room i am fine grrr.

You will be great. The people will believe in you because you are taking the session! Just do what you know and they will follow!!! You rock girl!

aerobics instructor- wow! Thats pretty awesome :) it may be nerve wracking at first, but like 140Days said- people are there to do what you tell em. Hows THAT for power!
 
Congratulations on the re-dedication to fitness. It'll all come back pretty quick as long as you stick with it. I'm sure you'll do great :D.

So many people don't understand special needs children. It's a real shame. The education system should really be trained better for those situations.

8 AM start, Intro to other students
8:30 am
Low Impact Aerobics class
High Impact Aerobics class
Step Class
Pump Class
Dance Aerobics --- almost forgot to include this one
RPM (spin) class
Stretch and ballance class
11:30 am Music Mapping
12 pm Lunch
1 PM learn and practice chorigraphy 1 song
2 pm teach other class members choriographty we just learned
3 PM Write own choriography (2 Blocks)
Practice and Demonstrate....
4 PM finish - colapse in exhausted heap

Repeat tomorrow

I have yet to calculate my calorie expenditure for today....zzzzzzzzzzzz

it is 6am and I am still a bit muscle tired from yesterday and not looking forward to today, I think I will be almost dead on my feet by the end of it urrrrrgh.

Woooo sounds like an exhausting day!!! I wouldn't have lasted more that 15 minutes LOL That HAS to be good for you ;) Glad to see it all went well, as I knew it would. Keep kicking it Tru!!!!
 
thanks for visiting, only a short post as today was very similar to yesterday

has my exercise and fod, I am to tired to re type it. My husband is cooking supper at the moment the it will be time to crash.........
 
it is monday morning and my calves and quads are soooo sore i can hardly walk.

After my class yesterday (including three Aerobics sessions) I had to walk across town to meet my husband, 5 km almost all up hill carrying a laptop in a bag + a backpack filled with gym gear and folders of paperwork and textbooks. I have still got to do my final assesments for the unit and should be writing and practicing choriography today but my legs just won't move the way i want them to.....
 
Wow~! What a workout you listed!

THe instructors always have banging bodies, you're going to be looking smoking hot in no time!

Keep me posted on how your classes go. When do you get to go solo?

You've had quite a journey. Congrats on being instructor!!! I can't believe your routine. I would drop dead within 20 minutes :x But seriously, that's amazing :)

I will get to go solo on the aerobics when i finish choriographing my three classes and run them in front of the person doing the assesments but for my full PT qualifications it won't be untill next year some time.


At the moment I am choriographing a pump/powerbar warmup set to "shake your booty"

gohomejes my workouts are not always as full on as they were on the weekend. :)

just a bit of an update for tonight, I was feeling bored earlier so added 15 minutes of boxing the heavy bag with a few kicks and elbows added in, 3 sets of lat pulldowns an 3 sets of chest press on the home gym.

I need to eat more, especially now I have cut down on the amount of energy drinks i have been having.

rest day tomorrow to do some of my coursework.
 
HOLY CRAP. Your workouts are killer! 30 minutes on the stairkaster at level 6?! You've inspired me! I'm usually dying at level 3 after 15 minutes. How embarrassing lol :)

I am seriously blown away by how much you lift. WOW. My inspiration!! I really want to get more into lifting.

Question, how many days of the week do you do strength training?
 
Damn! You really throw out some great workouts! Very well done. Did you like the "boxing"? With all your lifting and what not... I bet you have alot of power behind those punches!!

I try to lift 5 days a week when i am preparing for a competition but with study and no comps for a while I am lifting 3 days per week.

I don't mind boxing, it is a great way to relieve fustration and anger after having a bad day with the kids. I do miss being able to do much martial as there is no club in my area for Judo and with limited time and funds learning the freestyle martial arts that my kids do is out at the moment, but i do get asked to demo some Judo occasionally and have been teaching the kids.
