A new stage of the journey

it has been a busy few days with study, and i still have a heap of work to complete but i have been able to fit in a bit of cardio each day and depending on time my be able to squeeze in a bit of time this afternoon.

Now that the kids are back at school i have to re work my scedule to keep on top op studdy and workout routine.

hubby sugested that when i complete my course i should do a teaching degree on top of all my other useless bits of paper to become a PE teacher but i am not sure.

PE Teacher would be awesome! Good for you.

Have you played the last Core special for Greyhawk? OMG...that was an epic game...

I just came by to say hi :) When the screen loaded the first post I saw in your journal was about you DMing D&D. I really miss that game. I used to play in cali with a bunch of other people. I've played a bit out here but not in a while...my hubby quit on us in a really good campaign because he was tired of DMing and wanted to play, I wanted to smack him, lol. Now I don't have time but it would be so nice to just have a day to relax and escape in a good storyline :)

Anyway looks like you're doing great with the workouts. Thanks for posting in my journal the other day. ~Lisa

Thanks for dropping in, Yep it feels like i never stop some days.

I have had a shocking headache for the last 2 days but handed in 3 Units of work this morning and in class this morning discover it was my trapesius muscle causing the headache all all of the class members and teacher gave each other a neck massage :)

If I can complete 2 units of paperwork each week i can finish this course by the end of the year. yer right like thats actually gonna happen lol

eating has been ok but my workouts have been a little cardio and not much else :(

the group of local ladies wanting me to teach aerobics in the local community hall is growing so it might work out if i can get enough confidence.

it has been a rather booring rainy day but finally got to relieve the tension that builds up when i havn't been able to work out for a few days

Done a general whole body with the only notable lifts being bench at 62.5 after a few working sets and finish of the session with a 420 kg (925 lb) leg press again after a few working sets.

I need to sit down and work out a new off season program for myself.

hit the gym again this morning with the family, done a bit of cardio and a few isolation weights for muscles i didn't hit hard enough yesterday. Done PT with my son, to improve his overall muscle endurance and improve strength for matial arts.

Picked up my theory work for my group fitness class intructor module, looks straight forward compared to science aspect of the course.

my practical will be designing and running a 30 minute class.

hi there

Thanks for dropping into my diary. The support is great.
You press some big weights.
What calorie intake do you aim at per day?

You are a workout machine!! Go girl!

Sorry to hear about the headaches. You feeling better?

yep feeling better the headaches were causes by an over tight trapezius muscle

often in class we learn o alot of stuff that is not actually part of the course material but is very handy to know especially for rehab of injuries because the gym specialises in injury rehab.

This morning i will sit down and re calculate my nutritional need and intake as i have noticed i am not getting enough iron in my diet and much of what i have been getting has been Non-Heme iron which is harder to absorb.

925 lb leg press? You are in a WHOLE different category woman. Hey thanks for noticing my workout. I think I might need two days to recover.

its not how much you lift compared to other people it is about improving yourself, if the weights i lift can inspire others to work out great. But not everybody is built for pushing the weights i do but I do hope to defend my State powerlifting title next year.

It won't take long for you to adapt to the new workout intensity :)

Glad to learn more about you. I was wondering but now I know you are a State power lifting champion??? How long have you been on this forum?

I have been on the forum since 05 on and off and have been a competitive lifter for 2 years.
I compete in the Female 90 kg weight division but want to loose my excess fat and lift in the 82.5 kg division.

I have a BF% in the high end of the normal range but desperately want it to be lower.
If i was to judge my weight by BMI I would still be obese even if i didn't count the fat into my weight

I am a short bundle of chunky muscle

I can't get life insurance at a resonable rate because of !#$!%@ BMI despite all the tests done by my GP and all the blood tests indicating i am healthy and normal with no health risks or abnormalities :(

Hey there thanks for stopping by my journal ^-^

Insurance companies are horrible ( though we have it somewhat better in Canada) and really if your doctor says your clear and your blood tests say it and you're good enough to be competitively lifting then someone needs to knock serious sense into the insurance company. Besides BMI is supposed to be outdated anyways.

Also I think you're gonna make a great trainer someday.

This is short, so I apologize, but I've been meaning to come in and say hey, so HEY! :) Glad your back, woman! Thanks for visiting my page also :D
