Exercise: 100 crunches, 50 bridges and a 3mile run

I know i am under on my calories but i am going out for drinks tonight.
Did my run in the freezing cold this morning!! It really makes a difference to your breathing, it was very hard. My arms were numb, they were that cold. I bought a long sleeved top for running in this freezing weather today, i'll see if it makes a difference when i go running in the morning with Jane.

Pretty much finished the christmas shopping today :hurray: Now i just have to wrap it all!!!!

OK, i'm off to get ready to go out for drinks with Bec's, so looking forward to catching up and having a damn good gossip :)
 
Yay, such a big relief when the Christmas shopping is done!! Mine is too, the tree has lotsa prezzies under it :biggrin: Still have a few more that I'm waiting on to be delivered n that's it!!


So weird that it's that cold over there!! It was already 30 degrees c when I went for my walk at 6am today!! Ick it's getting pretty horrible, summers up here are HARSH.

I had the best night last night! It was awesome :) I haven't had such a good night in a very very long time. We went to this little restaraunt/bar drank 2 bottles of red wine and ate hummous, tortillas, olives and bread with oil.......It was lovely, we had such a giggle.
A girl who was a good friend at school works behind the bar and i hadn't seen her since about a month before i started losing weight and she came round from behind the bar, gave me a massive hug and said ' omg, you look fucking awesome, you are so tiny' Me? Tiny?? lol cool. i am taking Bec's back there for her birthday on 23rd dec. It was so quiet in there, it was lovely not having to cope with drunk idiots etc like you do in a normal pub.

I wasn't hung over this morning either, which was a bonus :) We did our run in the cold and rain this morning but it was still great, loved it. We have decided that we are going to aim to run a half marathon (13 miles) next year!!!!! Exciting :)

I started with a cold yesterday, i had kept it at bay with lots of drugs but it is really starting to take hold now :( I spent the afternoon sorting all the presents and writing out christmas cards while watch 'scrooge' my favourite christmas movie. Now i am going to curl up in a huge fleecy blanket and watch x-factor.

I'll catch up with your diaries tomorrow, feeling sorry for myself right now :(
 
AOh my god! I think that last week when you didn't lose anything but ate well, it was just taking a while for the calorie deficit to register on the scales. You are doing fabulously as always :D

Will reply better tomorrow as my little darlings are climbing all over me lol x
 
Aww hope you don't get too sick and feel better soon!! I used to love walking/running in the rain (probably because even when I was living down south it still wasn't really THAT cold). It's so refreshing!! :biggrin: I'm going to start buying food/alcohol for Christmas next week... going to grab a Bailey's for a photo for on here!! Haha!!
 
I love hearing about your compliments & the fact that you are learning to accept them well. Kate, can you get hold of lemons easily? A hot lemon drink just before you go to bed is so good for colds. Have the juice of about 1/2 a lemon, with a teaspoon of honey, add a splash of rum or brandy, add hot water, take 2 paracetemol & go straight to bed. It will help sweat out your cold. I don't see fruit in your every day diet. I don't see it in anyone's diary much. We need vitamin C to fight colds. Get well soon sweetie. Feel rubbish and grumpy :( I hate colds, they suck!!!

I was a good girl and did as Cate said and had lots of fruit and veg today :) and i am gonna get some lemons tomorrow too.
Sorry for a rubbish post but i'm gonna curl up with a film and snuggle. Hopefully i'll be better tomorrow and will catch up with diaries then.

:eek: I hope I hadn't sounded like a big nagger!! Well done you though on a very healthy eating day, with lots of fruit & veggies. Your body will love those kiwi fruit. They're Vitamin C bombs!! I know that I do go on a bit about fruit & veg but mostly don't say anything for fear of sounding like an old grannie (which I am- the grannie bit, not the old. I'm going to have to be over 80 & feeling decrepit, before I admit to being old!) Curling up for a film & a snuggle sounds like a good plan. Get well soon sweetie, big hugs, XoXo Cate.

I feel much better today :)

I know i am only just over 1200 cals but i haven't done any exercise.
I haven't weighed since last friday and it's bloody killing me!!!!!! I am freaking out :eek: I am so desperate to see how i am getting on GGrrrrrrrr!! Will i ever get use to this? I am not gonna sleep on saturday night in antisipation of sunday mornings weigh in.........Not that i'm obsessed in any way :)

I didn't have to work this afternoon and i managed to chill a bit which was nice.
There are 2 massive tins of biscuits and a box of chocolates at work now!!!!! I am still doing good and not wanting any. I am so determined to lose a bit more before christmas so that is what's stopping me from having any. I would so love to manage to lose that last 4lb for my weigh in on christmas day but i know that this far down the line it probably wont happen. I am going out for food and wine on 23rd but other than that i dont have any reason to go off course. I've got everything crossed.

Lucy I did really enjoy running in the rain :) On saturdays run i only had a vest on so my arms really hurt with the cold but on sunday i worn this long sleeved running top i had bought and it was amazing so i wasn't cold or too hot either. We did look a mess when we got back though. I had mud pretty much up to my knees and my lovely expensive trainers are disgusting now!!! I think i am gonna have to get another pair to wear to the gym and keep these ones for outdoor running. You run in the baking heat with dust and flies and i run in mud in the freezing cold rain!!! We definatly live the other side of the world from each other huh!!

Princess Heya sweetie, thanks for stopping by, great to see ya :) I'm pretty impressed i didn't have a 'fuck it, i'm ill' day too but i am so so close to my target and i would love to reach it by christmas.....That's all i can think about. I dread to think what i will consume over christmas :eek:

Ruthie OMG!! I genuinely didn't notice that i had only 1lb to go to reach 50lb....All i can see is that last 4lb i need to lose to reach target. I really should take note of what i have achieved huh!!!

Cate NO you are not nagging at all!!! I had actually thought 'i've got a cold, need to up my vit c' that morning. It actually made me feel quite smug that i had thought of it and them you mentioned it. 'see i am a good girl' :) I have felt so much better today and i genuinely think it is because i have eaten lots of fruit and veg and NOT eaten stodgy comfort food. Also on top of all the cold drugs i have taken i have been taking echinacea, first time i have done that. Maybe that has helped too. I love that you call kiwi's little vit c bombs, that is so cool. They are really good at keeping you regular too :)

I felt worse again today!!!! I have craved crappy comfort food all day but somehow managed to not have any!!! I was going to go to the gym after work but really don't feel up to it.
Hopefully i'll feel better again tomorrow and will get a run in then.
 
Aww sweets I'm sorry you're still feeling sick!!! Hope you get better really soon! Also don't run tomorrow unless you genuinely feel better, exercise can make you worse.

I have felt better today :) I came on this morning which explains the aching yesterday. Also would explain the chocolate i ate last night, probably about 200 cals worth :eek: Not too bad though seeing as i have felt rubbish for the week, i could have scoffed way way more!
I actually took a look in the biscuit box at work today!!!! WHY??? no idea! Didn't have any though. I did have some chocolate this afternoon. I bought a packet of 4 but only had one and gave the others away :)

I am so desperate to know what my weight is!!!! I have another 3 days to wait before i can weigh! It's really doing my head in :confused:

I was a good girl, did as Lucy said and didn't go to the gym. I don't feel 100% so thought i would rest. I am hoping to go tomorrow, i haven't been running since sunday!! :eek: It feels like forever!

You're doing so well Kate, not getting on the scales. Getting on the scales too often can also do your head in. I got on mine this morning- same, same. Hope you feel 100% very soon. Having chocolate occasionally won't kill you sweetie & you stopped instead of totally scoffing. Moderation- even I'm learning that. A little bit of something is ok. Counting cals has been a great lesson for me but that may be why I'm not losing as I sometimes have some chocolate or a stick of licorice as I think that I will still stay within my cals for the day. I must be miscalculating somewhere. After Xmas I'm dropping my cals back to 1200.
