A new me! (hopefully, with some help)

Arrgh I'm the same- tomorrow is weigh in and I didn't weigh last week either, had 2 really bad weeks!!! Going to have to be awesome the next fortnight if I want to see a loss at all- I'm seriously dreading the scale. Feel like I've put on a shitload!!!!!!!

Breakfast: 2 slices of wholemeal toast with light spread & marmite
2nd breakfast: 2 slices of wholemeal toast with light spread and jam
Lunch: 3 flatbreads with pate, smoked salmon & cream cheese, cheese and a handful of twiglets
Dinner: Plate of leftover veg from yesterday (totally cream or butter covered veg)
Snacks: Mince swirl, smarties & a baileys coffee
Total calories = still not a clue, still way too many!!!

Exercise: 9k run and a 7k walk!!

Had a lovely day. Got up and did my run with Jane this morning and it felt really good after feeling so fat a bloated after yesterday. Came home, did a bit of tidying and just pottered and read a new book for a bit. In the afternoon we mett up with Rob and Rachael and went for a walk along Woolacombe beach and that was lovely too, very windy and cold but it felt good doing so much exercise :)

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments on my photo. I really don't see what you do, 'TINY!!!' i don't think so but thank you anyway, it really made my day seeing them.

Lunch: Honey & mustard roast ham with salad, coleslaw, red cabbage, mashed potato, 2 stuffin balls and a bread roll with pate!!!!!!!
Dinner: 2 flatbread with cream cheese and salmon
Snacks: Small bit of christmas pudding with ice cream, cream and custard!!!! A few chocolates, a few sweets, mini mars bar and 3 large baileys!!!!!

Exercise: Eating!!!!!!

OMG i have eaten sooooooooo much high calorie food today!!!!!!!! I've had a lovely day, my parents and nan came for the day today so lots of pressies and food AGAIN!! Then snoozing in front of the TV.
I am going to have a NORMAL food day tomorrow (well, try my best anyway) I feel so so so so fat and bloated. I'm also going to go to the gym too.

I am going clothes shopping with Bec's on thursday so i need to have a good day tomorrow and thursday so i don't feel huge when trying on clothes.

Ahhh I had so much trouble getting back into it right away. I hardly ever eat sugar and I can honestly say that giving it up completely is the only thing that keeps me going- as soon as I had some, I had to have more, and more... and then the next day I'd be craving sugar again first thing in the morning... and the next day... eek. What a horrible cycle!!!! I finally managed a good day though, planning on having 6 perfect ones this week!!!!! We can do this!!!!!!!!!


You have a lovely family!!! I had no idea you had so many pets!! That last photo of them all on the couch made me all gooey inside, sooo cute!! I wish my cats got along, they tolerate each other but my ragdoll is so jealous, if she sees us patting the other cat she goes insane and attacks her. It happens daily. Lovely all yours snuggle up together!!!

Worked this morning and didn't have any of the chocolates or biscuits there! Went into Barnstaple this afternoon to do some shopping. When we stopped for coffee Mark and Jack had cake and i didn't :hurray: And i was really good when we had dinner this evening. I weighed my bit of cheese and all the meat etc and i didn't have any high calorie nibbles either!! Mark and Jack had some gateaux this evening and i didn't!! I can't get over how well i have done. I still feel bloated and super fat but i ate well so it's all good.

Hoping to have an even better day tomorrow, actually gonna try and get to the gym and remember my crunches! :)

Lucy I have been a little bit grumpy today, i think that is sugar withdrawl but i am so chuffed with how i have managed today :)
Well done you on managing a good day too, i really do think we can do this.
My cats dont get along either, they can't walk past each other without taking a swipe at each other. They are sisters from the same litter but have never got along, they are so different. My Tabby cat always cuddles up with the dogs, i think she actually thinks she is a dog, she even pads them. The black one doesn't, she is a real mummies girl and is wherever i am, bless her, she is curled up under my arm right now!!

I BOUGHT A SIZE 10 DRESS TODAY!!!!! and it fits!!!!!! :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:

Did a few hours at work this morning, avoiding all the goodies still. I felt so much better in myself today after a healthy food day yesterday, definatly felt less bloated.

When i finished work i picked up Bec's and we went into Barnstaple for a girly shopping session. First off we went for lunch, we went to a lovely posh resturant and had a lovely scrummy meal and a glass of wine then hit the sales. I saw this lovely flowing black dress in one shop but they only had it in a size 10. Bec's said to try it on anyway, so i did and...............OMG!!!!! Can you imagine how squeally excited i was when it fitted and looked nice. Bec's was so lovely and gushing with compliments :) The sale price for this dress was £10 but it had a small snag on it so i asked if there was any more discount 'yeah you can have it for £7' Cool i thought! But when i got to the til the girl messed up the discount so instead of £3 off i only had to pay £3 for it!!!! How cool is that.
I got another size 10 dress in 'Next' but it is a little bit too tight still but hey, something to aim for!!!! Got 4 dresses in total, a hat, a top, a knitted skirt, a mini skirt dungarees and suspender belt and stockings!!! I would have never bought most of the stuff i did before i lost my weight. I'm so blown away with the type of clothes i get now, before it would be jeans, t shirts and hoodies!

I will try and remember to get Mark to take some photo's tomorrow.

When i got home i put this dress on to show Mark and he was his usual non enthusiastic self 'yes dear, lovely' but later when he was on the phone to his mum he told her that i had been shopping and i said 'tell her about my dress' so he did and i don't know what she said but Mark said 'no it fits lovely and looks really nice' HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!!!!

Gonna go for a run in the morning or to the gym if the weather is shite

Millie is so gorgeous.All of them are but she is just a LADY!so sweet!I didnt know you had so many!!!Its great!It can be a big pain sometimes ,cleaning up cause of them but they are so lovely and sweeet little things!!!I love them all!I wish i was really rich and buy a huge piece of land and make it a shellter for all the poor strays....Its teribble what some people do to them.........................omg...dont want to get there....

Dinner: Roast turkey, dry roast potato's, carrots, cauliflower, brocolli, peas and gravy (426 cals)

Total calories = 1162 I will probably have some chocolates or christmas cake later :)

Exercise: (in order) 5 min walk, 30 min run, 5 min walk, 3x12 chest press, 3x12 peck flye, 3x12 tricep extentions, 200 reps on the abs machine.....10 mins on the cross trainer, 3x12 chest press, 3x12 peck flye, 3x12 tricep extentions and finally another 200 reps on the abs machine!!!!!!! I worked like demon :)

Had a lovely lie in this morning :) and then went to the gym. I loved it, i worked so hard and was there for an hour and a half. It felt great :) I weighed at the gym and it said that i have gained about 5lb :eek: I am suprisingly ok with that, I know i am gonna get rid of it so it's all good.
Came home, had a shower and got Mark to take some photo's of my dresses for you guys :) Then just pottered and went to tesco's.

Millie is defianly a lady :) The other two are just bloody stupid, especially Lola, she is a bit 'special' I love them all dearly but have such a soft spot for mille, she is always so well behaved and actually does as she is told, unlike the other two.

You look AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! And properly SMALL- you can see especially in the last couple of photos how tiny and defined your waist is!!! Haha did you realise that a 10 is a size small as well?? (Is in Aus anyway!!) And you have super fit looking legs! Definitely believe work as hard as you say you do- I'm SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!

I decided that i was not going to worry too much about calories today as i wanted a few drinks and nibbles tonight :) I know i have gained lots this week and i'm cool with that as i am gonna definatly get back on track next week. I am gonna try and keep everything under control until wednesday. I am going back to work then and i find it so much easier when i have my 'normal' routine. I will then do a few weeks of staying around 1200 to kick start everything. I am going to change my ticker target from 160 to 150lb tomorrow with my weigh in. A total fresh start!!

I decided to go thru my clothes again today and........I took everything size 16 and above out!!!!!! Other than a few cardigans and hoodies. So now i have 2 bin bags full of clothes that are too big. I had really mixed feelings while i was going thru them as some of it i really liked but i decided that if it looked baggy then it was going! It was really quite liberating :) My wardrobe and drawers have never been so empty lol.

I was reading all the posts this morning while having breakfast and saw that Lucy and Princess have some New Year Resolutions and i have been thinking about it all day so here are mine.

Kate's New Year Resolutions!
Doing ones.....

1. I am going to reach my weight target of 150lb.
2. I am going to run a half marathon!
3. I am going to give up smoking.
4. I am going to come off my anti-depressants.

Being ones....

1. Learn to accept compliments.
2. Worry less.
3. Accept what life gives me and make the best of everything (i.e not stress about the potential job situation)
4. Be stronger and try to put myself first more.
5. Be more accepting of myself.

I am giving myself the whole year to acheive this :) Can you imagine me giving up smoking, trying to reach target and coming off my meds at the same time.....that would be entertaining :)

Cate Aww thank you Cupcake :blush5: I think my legs look aweful in the photo's but that's probably me. I don't do dresses cos i hate my legs, i always lived in jeans. I will be a good girl and accept your compliments (especially as you all mentioned them lol) I think i just have to do some mental adjustment and accept that i don't see what others do :)

Like tights, i always just picked up XL in the past and now i have to actually look at the sizing on the back!! That is something i will have to get use to but i really don't mind. I just get weird looks when i giggle in the shop!
Do my legs really look that good? I really dont see it. I like how skinny my ankles look now though :)
