Exercise: Session 12 of my C25K
I felt better today for resting yesterday. My legs didn't ache today! Whoop!
Earlier in my diary i did one of my C25K runs outside, i think it was the 2nd one. Anyway, it nearly killed me, it was so much harder than at the gym then everyone told me that going UP the railway line was an incline which explained why i struggled. This evening my allotment neighbour, Jane, came and picked me up and we drove to the other end of the railway line and we did my C25K session together down (on the slight decline) it and when we got to the bottom (i live there) i drove her back to her car. I loved it, it was quite hard to start with, figuring a pace that i was ok with but we did it really well, and managed to chat during some of it!! It was lovely running outside, thru the forest. beautiful scenery! We are going to do it again on sunday morning.
I am still not struggling with food!!! YET! I am waiting for it to happen but nothing yet.
I am gonna make Banoffee pie for my birthday, (At work we have to take cake in when it's our birthday) and i'm gonna try and work it so that i can have some and not go over my cals!! What a bloody freak huh!! I am going out next saturday (girly birthday night) for a few glasses of wine and CURRY! and i am gonna eat healthy during the day but not worry about cals at all while i am out. Can't wait!! That is gonna be the first time that i will be going over my cals!!!
DM You have inspired me to try and eat healthy while i am on holiday at the end of the month. I usually take disposable BBQ's and have burgers, sausages, bread, pitta and dips etc every dinner but i am thinking about what to take that is healthier. I have got some chicken strips, pork/pepper kebabs and lean bacon so far to stick in the freezer ready to take with me. I have NEVER ever thought about eating healthy while on holiday and i really want to do it. Fingers crossed!
Rainbow Thank you for your advise about running (And Snezy & DM too) you are so right. I was really worried that i would give up because i felt so horrid afterwards but it was good to learn that i was just being stupid and impatient! It made such a difference today having rested yesterday, Yes, it was hard but i was really up for it and really really enjoyed it and didn't feel rubbish afterwards either, to be honest i could have done it again. Jane said the same too. Thanks guys, you are awesome.
