Today is weigh day and....................I lost 3LB!!!!! :hurray: :hurray:
I now have under a stone left to lose :)

Ruthie I didn't feel super fit yesterday!! If it wasn't for the fact that i had to do 40 mins because of my training program then i just know i would have given up at 20 mins.
I get hooked on series but i don't like having to follow them each week. I watch them back to back. So far i have done Vampire diaries, supernatural and i'm on series 2 of Fringe.

Cate Iv'e just remembered why i didn't get to do my post on monday night.......I spent all evening finding a hotel for when we go to Bath for this half marathon in march!!!! Found a lovely one and we are going for three days :) Gonna make a weekend of it :) Don't worry about the 2kg gain (i seen from MFP that you have lost half of that over night) I am still trying to lose what i have gained recently. I hate how much longer it is taking me, i suppose all the running i am doing is building muscle, well, that's what i am trying to convince myself.

Lucy I am going to aim to do the 10 mile one in under 1 hour 40 mins. This is my first ever 'race' i haven't even done a 5km or anything!!!! Nothing like jumping in at the deep end huh! So really i just want to finish it :) I have 6 months to go before the 13 mile one so i hope i can get my speed up alot for that one.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and constant encouragement :grouphug:

Oooooooo, just incase i forget to tell you tonight when i do todays post........I got my river island jeans done up this morning!!!!!!! It doesn't look pretty lol but they did up. I'll get Mark to take a photo :)

AHey Kate! Congratulations on the 3 pound loss!!! :hurray::hurray:
Also congratulations on entering the 10 mile race...that's a long way chicky! No wonder you are running so much these day!:hurray::hurray:

When you make your mind up to do something you really go at it don't you?!

Keep up the great work!!

Sarah

I did my run this evening with Ash and we did it on the Tarka trail. It was the first time i have done running outside that wasn't interval for months!!! I actually ran 50 mins straight and it felt good. My legs are not talking to me again but i loved it :)
Rest day tomorrow, phew!! lol

Hi Hun. “I actually ran 50 mins straight and it felt good. My legs are not talking to me again but i loved it â€

WOW! You are truly an inspiration Kate. To those who think they can’t, of course you can! (I'll stick to cycling, walking & golf though, although I can run to chase a grand-son :D) You, young lady, are one of my favourite people! Lots of love, xoxo Cate

AI watch them back to back too :) I usually get so into them I watch like five episodes a day  Its the best way!!!

WELL DONE ON BUTTONING THE JEANS!!!!!!!!! And also on having less than a stone to go! And you are superfit, I don't care what you say ;) Soon you won't have any aches after, your muscles hurting is making them stronger.

Much love x

Kate!!! Where are you?? I don't think you've disappeared for this long EVER... hope all is well and you come back when you're ready. We are all here for you!

AHey Everyone :blush5: so so sorry i have been so rubbish. I have no excuses, i just kinda was ignoring everything :( I have been busy but that is no excuse.
I am back now though and i am staying and will post every day :)

I have been really good with the exercise but pretty bad food wise!!! I am going to try again (god, i'm so fed up with saying again, again) i need too cos i've let things slip and feel horrible.

I am doing my great south run 4 weeks today  and i want to be below 160 by then. Not actually sure what i am but i need a massive challenge, something i really need to work hard at to reach.

Ok.......I've done good today......I am desperate to eat badly tonight and i have spent the last hour arguing with myself about whether to eat the dips, chips and flatbread that i had got (stupidly) for myself!!!!! I really want to throw it away but just can't bring myself to waste it.......I think i will get Jack to have it while watching a film tonight.

Why, oh why is it so hard :(

Day 1

Breakfast: 75g porridge
Lunch: Ham, lettuce and coleslaw wheatgerm sandwich with a bag of crisps
Dinner: Small bowl of spag bol
Snacks: Snack bar
Total calories = 1234

Exercise: 6 mile run in the cold rain :hurray: That was the first time EVER that it has rained when i have gone running. I did think about doing it at the gym but the GSR is at the end of oct so chances are that the weather will be rubbish so i thought i had better do it outside.

Again, so so sorry for being so slack and being such a crappy friend to you guys.

AMorning :)

I did it!!!!!! I didn't have anything naughty last night :hurray: :hurray: I did have a handful of grapes but that's ok, right?!!

Here's to a good Monday :)

Xxxxx

ADay 2

Breakfast: 3 weetabix
Lunch: Ham, lettuce and light mayo wheatgerm sandwich, yoghurt and grapes
Dinner: Chicken salad with coleslaw and courgette relish
Snacks: tiny peice (an inch square) of chocolate brownie, 3 kiwi's and 2 half milk coffees
Total calories = 974

Exercise: Rest day :)

I had a good day today and it wasn't hard. I did have a tiny perice of chocolate brownie but i counted it. The sexy new dentist made it and was so so proud of himself that i felt i had to have some :) and it was scrummy! There was still quite a bit left in the staff room all day and i didn't feel the need to have any, which is very unlike me. When i have a bit i normally can't stop but today i did :hurray:

Monday is a rest day exercise wise :) Got a 40 min run to do tomorrow. If the weather is ok i will do it outside.

Cate Cheers sweetie. You have to take all the credit of getting me back. :grouphug:

:grouphug: I’m really glad that I did get you back. I couldn’t stand it if you went back to eating rubbish & feeling like rubbish. I’m a friend for life sweetie! Lots of love xoxo Cate

PS Having a little piece of brownie is what most slim people do & there is nothing at all wrong with that. That's what I do with Mum occasionally. I buy one (gluten-free) & cut it up & share it with her.

ADay 3

Breakfast: 3 weetabix
Lunch: 300g pasta, yoghurt and grapes
Dinner: Chicken salad with coleslaw and corgette relish
Snacks: 3 kiwi's, 3 half milk coffee's and 2 multiseed flatbread
Total calories = 1338

Exercise: 40 min run & 10 min walk

I had another good day today and i feel slimmer today :hurray: :hurray: My work trousers didn't feel tight :)

I had to do my run at the gym after work today instead of running outside as i had planned to do cos it was cold and raining and i only had a vest top and knee high running tights things with me. I am off work tomorrow so i am probably gonna go into town and get a few long sleeved tops so i don't get too cold when i run outside. I was really looking forward to the route i had planned to run....oh well.

Another run tomorrow and i am doing my toning class tomorrow evening. I did it last wednesday for the first time in months and was convinced that i would ache like hell but i didn't :) Ash came with me and she text me to say that her legs were killing and it hurt her stomach to breath. To start with i thought that i hadn't worked hard enough but remembered that when i did it i worked really hard and i hurt at the time so ended up actually realising that i must be pretty fit :) fat but fit lol :)

Cate Thanks again for draging my fat arse, kicking and screaming, back. I love that you seem to know when to give me that little prod :grouphug: you are truly the best ever :) And you are so right about the little bit of brownie. I need to learn to manage to eat just a bit rather than just eat and eat. I think the mental issue is going to be harder for me.

Lucy :hurray: Yay! Cheers sweetie :grouphug:

ADay 4

Breakfast: 75g porridge
Lunch: 300g pasta
Dinner: Pork chop with dry roast potatoes, carrots, peas, brocolli and gravy
Snacks: Go ahead bar & a weetabix snack bar
Total calories = 1400

Exercise:
10 min walk
50 min run
60 min toning class :) :)

Didn't work today and i've had a busy but nice day. I had my nails done this morning and then went into Barnstaple where i bought some new long sleeved tops for running in in this bloody crappy weather. I also got a nice jumper and some stationary stuff and posh pens etc for my evening class (i am starting a creative writing course tomorrow night) i am really excited but still really nervous!!!!! Deep breath Kate!

I then did my 50 min run and it rained really big fat rain for a lot of it but it was ok. Running in the rain isn't too bad really. Then came home, did dinner and went to my toning class.
I was really proud of how i did this evening at my class. I noticed some of the others having to rest or pause during it and i didn't.......well maybe a tiny bit doing abs after about the 5 thousandth one!!! I worked really hard at keeping going and was really chuffed with it. :) I am sure my bum, legs and abs are gonna be sore tomorrow :( But it's all good :)

I have been weighing on a wednesday for a while but decided, seeing as i started AGAIN on a sunday, that i would go back to weighing on a sunday.

AHi guys

I'm really sorry, I am struggling to find time to post. It is always gone 9pm by the time I get to sit down and I just wanna sleep :( hopefully life will ease up soon and I can get back to posting.

Xxxx

You're forgiven!! I hope your life settles too sweetie.

I don't know how I ever worked full-time(7 days a week) & brought up 2 kids!
