Hi! glad the diet is going well. Maybe weddings should get a small pass? I have one to attend this weekend, too. No idea how I'm going to deal with the cocktail hour!
W2L, i gave it a big pass....ate all unmentionable things.
So Saturday was crazy crazy...started out fine with good breakfast then over the course of the afternoon things started deteriorating....i was at a wedding and there were all these yummy things- paneer curry, mutton currey, biryani, lots of cake (yikes!). Oi....then I started making mimosas and got everyone drunk...by the end of the afternoon we had run out of champagne, so we had another person run out and get two more bottles. I must have had like eight glasses of mimosa..then the evening was the reception- and i had about three glasses of wine...as if that wasn't enough, we went to a bar in the heart of the city after 2am and I had four vodka tonics...I was still fine after all that alcohol....hahaha. No one had to carry me home or anything.
But the wedding was SUPER fun. I was dancing throughout the night in bollywood numbers (so must've burned some calories there) in a sari (imagine trying to do cool moves on the dancefloor wearing one of those). I got asked out by a few men (what an ego boost). My friend is married and off to her honeymoon....sooo soo soo happy for her. They are perfect for each other.
Sunday morning: woke up with a headache..(obviously). Took advil and went for a run....it was good, not truly satisfied, so gonna venture out tomorrow morning again. Sunday has been quite a relaxed day. Had forgotten about my dental appointment, thank god they called to remind. All my teeth is fixed and cleaned and now they shine...
Back to work tomorrow....Ugh! This week is another killer week from hell...looks like life will improve after first week of July...
Saturday:
Pretty much what I said above- haven't even logged them in on fitday- don't wanna know many thousands of calories I ate.
SUN:
B: one hardboiled egg and 1 cup of plain homemade yogurt
S: another cup of plain, homemade yogurt
L: string beans, 1/3 cup boiled bulgar, 1/3 cup white rice- lotsa chillies
S: 2 mangos and a glass of pineapple juice
D: prolly more string beans...
