About strength training - I think it is very important. I feel like I don't get enough but I'm working my way up. You don't want to lose your muscles and if you don't use them you lose them. I do the majority at home but use some of the machines at the gym too. Push-ups, squats, lunges are all good and I use a 10 lb dumb bell to work my arms - bicep curls, tricep dips, shoulder press, etc. There is a whole section on this website a bunch of stickies related to strength training you should check out. A lot of stuff to do at home too.

Deal - I will try extra hard this weekend and I am going to track everything!! I usually only track until dinner and then it all goes down the tub - this weekend will be different and I will post all my food and exercise on Monday - I think being accountable will help in my decision making! I don't plan on partying either so 3 glasses of wine should do it!!How about we promise to be less naughty this weekend?

Don't dread it - you can do it! You did 12 so there is no reason you can't do 20! Make sure you have good music to keep you going! Sometimes I like to chew on a piece of gum while running although I know I could probably choke on it but it helps with my breathing - not sure why.I also started my run with a really long stretch. FEEELING GREAT. The last bit was a little difficult though. Tomorrow I have to run 20 mins without stopping. REALLY dreading it. Yikes!!
Great job 139 is amazing! Oh I'm imagining the day! I wish the #'s would go down faster too! day by day and we will get there.I am down to 139.4 but I am not going to change the ticker until I become a little less ( oh i hope, i hope, i hope). I should be happy that I am losing but I am busting my balls and the result is just .2 here .3 there. I wish the numbers will go down a little more...but I must be patient.
It is strange though....my clothes tell more than the scales. I can fit on my clothes better (have lost some around the hips, I think). Is that possible? To not go down in scales but still lose or am I just imagining things now coz I so desperately want some results? Any insights anyone???

I don't think you are imagining your clothes fitting better - I have that happen too and then all of a sudden the scale will go down so just stay consistent and it will happen. Could just be muscle coming back since it weighs more which is why the scale hasn't moved much - keep it up and the scale will match the way your clothes feel soon - don't forget to take measurements because the changes in that will also help when the scale makes you grouchy!

I am going to have a GREAT week this week. Gonna eat really really well this week. I want to stay within my calories this week so I can be a lil naughty over the weekend. It is only Monday morning and I am really really looking forward to next weekend.

Weekend looked good Juni!! I copy all my posts before I hit submit because I always lose my posts otherwise - it's so frustrating!
I am also going to have a great week - let's keep each other motivated and I am also looking forward to the weekend!!! Hopefully the healthy week will go by fast! I love it that you are holding off weighing yourself - if I wasn't weighing in at WW I might give that a try - I also feel lighter (well not so much this morning because I didn't stop at one piece of pizza like you!!) but feeling better about ourselves will just keep pushing us forward!
