Exercise: 30 minutes on the bike, 20 minutes upper body weight lifting
Breakfast: plain bagel w/ light cream cheese
320 calories
Happy Note Today: Just feeling really good over all! Looked down at my legs while biking and realized my thighs ARE slimming down! Even my reflection in the mirror while lifting is altering. And then the light bulb flickers on in my head an I realize WOW, this stuff really DOES work!
Ponderment: Tomorrow is my birthday so I am giving myself that day as my "cheat day". While in the past I would go "hog wild" I feel like this will be self-defeating, as it will be returning to bad habits. I don't want to go back to binging EVER. I think I will allow myself a scone from Starbucks and some regular coffee (nothing high calorie like a frapuccino), a small slice of any cake offered to me, and something some what decent from my dinner out. I am coming to the conclusion that its OK to splurge a little on a "cheat day", but if I go hog wild, who is to say when I reach my goal weight that I won't pursue cheating 24/7 in this hog wild manner, and regain all my weight. Nope.. its part of the life style change. Not total deprivation, but things in moderation.
