That story of the "driveway walker" makes me laugh cuz sometimes, when I'm trying to get my steps in for the day, I'll just go out to the garage and do laps! :D But seriously, she is a good inspiration!

Well, I got my cardio in this morning and my goals posted for the day. I'm off to shower and eat breakfast and then I'll be back.

Aghh. I'm tired! :) My sister says we only are doing this one more day, Just Friday..so our weigh in is Sat. morning. THANK GOODNESS!! You know when I was getting about two work-outs in a day it was like "extra" when I got the second one in. Now that I'm committed to it, its really wearing on me.. at least on my mentality!! Alas.. :) ONE MORE DAY! I got this! I got this!!!

Thank you so much guys!!! :D I just love all this support!! I got up and did my work out this morning. One more for today!! I will be so happy to complete this challenge. But uhm my biggest dilemma.. is that I don't remember what my official starting weight was for the week starting this last Sunday..:eek: Oh am I a doof :) Alas.. I did email my sister what it was, so hopefully she kept the email hehe!! :)

Day #6 of Sister Challenge, Final Day!


Exercise:
Up at 5:30am for 30 minutes on the bike and 10 minutes on the treadmill! 40 mins total
Water: 44oz
Breakfast: bagel w/ light cream cheese 295 calories
Morning Snack: 1/4 cup trail mix 150 calories
Lunch:Chicken in a packet 203 calories
Afternoon Snack: Nabsico peanut butter crisp 100 calories
Dinner: small sub sandwich 350 calories
Dessert:peanut butter crisps 100 calories
Total: 1198 calories
Exercise:walked dogs for 2 miles
Thoughts for today:
So I've whined about being mentally fried on the two-a-day exercising etc. But, today is the last day, and I have one last work out to do today. My sister has helped me get through this challenge, but also so has every one of you posting in my journal. It really has helped so I have tons of thanks to give all of you!! You have been a great support! <insert dance of joy here>

Now I am only pondering, what I will do next week to spice up my fitness. :D I am going to take a break from the "strict" two work outs a day. I definitely want to keep my morning work out in there, but I am thinking of taking the occassional step or yogilates (yoga and pilates) class etc in the evenings. Just to add some variety. I do also meet with my trainer for the final time (had to reschedule before) on Tuesday evening at 7. So I hope she has some interesting things to add to my routine ! :) I'm also running out of room on my training log for the second time! :D YAY!!

Upward and onward... I GOT this!!!

Starting Weight:156lbs
Ending Weight:154.5lbs :eek:

Water: 20oz so far
Breakfast:bagel with light cream cheeese 295 calories
Lunch:sandwich, no condiments 180 calories
Snack: trail mix 150 calories
Dinner:dinner out, grilled turkey & roasted red peppers on foccaccia bread, only ate half of sandwich & some chips 500 calories approx.
Subtotal:1125 approx.
Dessert: 1/2 cup of low fat ice cream 120 calories

Good morning everyone!! :) So, the wiegh in results for the week challenge are official! Looks like am I down another 1.5lbs from our starting! A healthy loss for one week. I am afraid my sister won't think it is much, but I'm pleased to have lost any. (I think she is a little deceived by those on the Biggest Loser losing so much in one week, but they have much more to lose and are also working out a lot more in one day than we have time for!) So I'm excited to change my ticker! And even more excited to not over do Sunday on my cheat day. :) Or today..I'll be out shopping at the temptations are going to be galore! I didn't lose this weight to put it all back on in a weekend just for some tasty food! Nope!! :)

Other thoughts for today:
So this week has been a trial on my mentality stickin to it. I've had a lot of cravings etc. Then I realized last night, that I'm still thinking of this as a "diet", and stopped myself to realize, no this is a WAY of life for me. It needs to be. I forget that its not going to be as easy to retrain myself, even though I've gon eback and forth for years like this. I know its a lifestyle change, but..somehow.. its hard. Its always nice to think "when I lose the weight and I can eat this.." well, I just need to remember even when the weight is gone, I can eat those things, in a moderate amount, and I still need to exercise. Anyhow.. not really postin this for a lesson or lecture to anyone, just sharing my thoughts for the weekend. Things that.. I know i still need to retrain my thinking on...even after.. oh 10 yrs or so of trying to lose weight and yo-yoing. :eek: (Of course that's why I was yo-yoing!) :D Makes me even more determined!!! :D

I know what you mean, with the mentality! It really is half the battle, isn't it? I think all of us have had that experience at least once. Though, it is true that once the weight is gone, we won't have to be as totally strict on ourselves, and still allow ourselves a little bit of the good stuff - as long as we aren't binging again!

NEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWLEEEEAF!!!!!!!! Nuthin' just callin' ya :D KIDDING! LOL Congrats on the loss! Thats great :) The mentality thing is something I had a hard time with at first too. I realized it isn't so much eliminating something (like pizza) as finding a healthy way to have it (created a yummy alternative -mmmmm). Now I don't feel so deprived or like its the bad "d" work :eek: Yogilates sounds like fun! I do pilates and want to get into yoga or tai chi (much to hubby's disgust).Mixin' it up is the key to zip :D Umm in SOME things! hehehhehe ON THAT NOTE (man my mind just runs away!!!LOL) have a good day and keep up the great work :D
 
thats my problem too...remembering its a life style. losing is easy, maintaining is NOT~ but this time around im also trying to reshape my thinking along with my body! we can do it! we HAVE to do this!
