Day One of the New Year Challenge:
Breakfast: Smart Start cereal, 1 cup,
200 calories
Water: 20 onces
Snack: 5 seasame crackers
80 calories
Lunch: One slice of homemade lasanga
300(?) calories
Motivator: 1) FH's said he can notice a difference in my appearance! 2) Throwing out Christmas chocolates.
Snack: Fruit n' Yogurt parfait
160 calories
Water: Crystal Light
20 calories 40oz.
Downside: I am going to have to move my computer into the bathroom!
Upside: Really starting to enjoy water & crystal light!
Dinner: Chicken with teriyaki sauce & lightly steamed veggies
500 calories
Snack: Popcorn
100 calories* 1/2 cup of ice cream
100 calories
Exercise: 30 minutes cardio & 30 minutes lower body weights. 100 abdominal crunches!
WOOHOO! I feel like I had a great day!!!
My sister chatted with me yesterday via phone, and told me that she, my older sister, my brother-in-laws, and a few friends are all doing their own "Weight-Loss Challenge" everyone will pitch in like $10.00 I believe, and the biggest percentage loser, wins the pot! So I told them I'd join in of course! Partly this is in preperation for my wedding, since my two sister's are in the bridal party. So its pretty exciting to have them in on this little adventure for all of us.

So I'm really determined today.
I have to confess, yesterday was a bad day for me! I started out doing really well and determined. I went to the gym and worked out for an hour! I was dragging a bit on cardio but I thinK I was overcoming a little viral bug. Anyhow.. my in-laws came over and all went o ehck after that. My MIL brought "sausage balls" so I couldn't resist, and the next thing I know I"m munching on this mint chocolate I had left over from Christmas, and can't keep my hands off it. I was also dreading going back to work after the long weekend, so it just made me eat more. I knew better, I KNEW what I was doing, emotional eating. So I'm irked at myself and determined not to do it today. Anger can be a great motivator.. lol

So... here we go. !
