A new beginning...

I weighed myself this morning, after MUCH water yesterday and being SO well behaved, and I came in at 154lbs!! I am HALF a pound away from my ticker being accurate. I am SO geeked!!

HOORAY!! I had no doubt. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& you made it to the gym again this morning. whoo!!
 
THanks you guys!! Yes I am hoping that 1/2lb will be gone tomorrow by my weigh-in. If not itw ill def. leave during this challenge. I will not binge or crash this challenge. I SWEAR!! :) Oh I better go see what team I'm on!

As for the bathroom, lol! Yep I've been in there freq. thanks to a wee bit of coffe and lots of water!! :D
 
Im right there with ya! Took a good while to finally ring true on my ticker as well...Glad now I didnt change it and glad u didnt either! It sure is a struggle aint it? Sometimes bad bad thoughts enter my mind to quit, but then I remember how far Ive come and say NO WAY am I quitting! I CANT quit! I can cheat, screw up, forget a little, or whatever excuse I need for the time, but eventually I remember and know its lose weight or die. Because I know an early grave is where Im headed if I dont. Somber, yes, but for me TRUE!

Keep up the great struggle!
 
Keep up the greta work and don't let the 1/2 pound get you down. You have come a really long ways, you can get it off with a little exercise. :p Keep up the great work!
 
Sp I have been really good these past two days on the Paula Diet. But its 9pm and I'm SO hungry. :) SO.. maybe I'll get lucky and that scale will move down that half pound tomorrow morning. lol!! :) One can wish right.. or dream!! ;)

I am refusing to break down and eat anything, because I don't want to let you guys down again like I did this past weekend!!! Wish me luck. :D

Exercise: 30 minutes ellipitical and 20 minutes lower body weights
Water: 112 oz
Breakfast: 3 hardboiled eggs (no yolks!) 150 calories?
Snack:protein shake 110 calories
Lunch:tuna with crackers 210 calories
Snack:protein shake & special K bar 200 calories
Subtotal: 670 calories
Dinner:left over chicken and veggies 250 calories
Total Calories:920

Wednesday Ramblings...
So good morning, good morning! I did survive last night. I had a teensy couple of peanuts & some water. That was it! I am so proud of me!! Binge no more! :) And yesterday was sort of a challenge. I'd gone home for work early about 1hr and of course would have the advantage of eating whatever I wanted in the house. I did not! :) So yay for me. Ok..enough tooting my own horn!:rolleyes:

Anyhow.. other jibberish, my poor FH Sid has been very swamped at work lately. He has been working on a second project on the side for the office and went in early yesterday at 7:30 and wound up staying late! Unfortunately.. it was very late. He thought he was leaving at 8:30 but the model took longer and I woke up at 11 to find him not in bed. I called him and he thought he'd be leaving in 20 minutes. No prob! So i went back to sleep. Woke up at 2:30 to him coming in the door. :( I didn't sleep well at all. I never due when I worry about him driving home 30 minutes late at night like that. Or..early morning as it were. So.. he is home and safe and sound. Thankfully.. he's already at work, no idea how he can do these hours w/ such little sleep! :eek:

Poor hubby! Sorry to hear he is working such awful hours! I hope that doesn't go on too long. Sounds like there isnt even enough time for sleep.

Good job on not bingeing! That can be soo hard when you are hungry and the cravings hit you. You are showing a great amount of will power! I am finding that will power is a tough thing to learn, but its the real trick to weight loss. You can drink all the water you want, and exercise all you want, but if you cant say no to the desire to overeat losing weight isnt going to work. Keep up the great work!! Hope hubby gets home at a decent hour tonight! :)
 
Hey Girl You Will Lose That 1/2 Pound And Then Some This Challenge! So Keep Focused And Even Though Your Not On My Team I Am Still Going To Push Ya Cause I Want Competition!!!!! Hehehehe
 
hey NL, I was STARVING last night as welll. I ended up take my dogs for a walk and drank a lot of water and tried to keep busy. It worked but I didn't lose weight either ;). Oh well. At least we aint going the wrong way (up!)!!

What's up on March 17th? or did you figure that date, just cuz? I'll be in Vegas for my bachelorette! :D

Glad I wasn't the only one hungry!! :D SHould of walked my dogs.. they would of much preferred that.lol!!

March 17th I fly up to Michigan for a weekend of finalizing wedding plans. I live in VA and the wedding is in MI (where I grew up) so.. my shower is also that Sunday. YAY!! :) I just want to see my sisters and have them noticeably tell the difference of my weight loss! I feel like they will be able to in the 140's!
 
Thanks Fluff & Tina! :) Yes I told FH that he had to go home early from work today or go to bed very early tonight, he agrees with me :D

Ok guys!! So I am having some wretched back pain this morning. Yesterday it hit me more in the early afternoon and I left work early to sit at home on a heating pad and relax.

Not to give out TMI (too much info) but it almost feels like.. I have menstrual pain but in my back, not my pelvis but musuclar too maybe(?). Nothing seems to touch it, not ibuprofuen , motrin etc. I thought a heavy duty midol prescription was working last night. This morning though I am miserable. :( Do you guys think it might be my working out in the mornings aggravating it? I don't feel that way, but once I get to work and I've been sitting awhile, it just really starts aching, and throbbing. I don't want to cut out my work outs..but I am pondernig taking tomorrow as a rest day officially. What do you guys think?? I hate having to not exercise. I feel like its someone taking a recovering alcoholic to a bar, or shopping for wine glasses. :( AGHH! :)

btw.. I see a doc next Wed for a chk to see if its reproductive related.
 
wow this sounds like my H. He works for himself, and while yesterday he played Unreal Tournament and slept with our dog most of the day(no calls) today he is looking at working 16 hours straight. My littlest D asked why I married him, I said cause he's such a hard worker! When he has work, its usually ALL at once. Or hardly any at all. Such is life when working for yourself I guess.

and in the 140s Im SURE they will notice!
 
Boy, this back pain is starting to get old, isn't it? I am so sorry it has been bothering you so much. I have episodes every once in awhile where my back hurts alot. One time, it was right after I had a baby so I just figured it had to do with that. In December when I would walk on the treadclimber, my lower back would start hurting. A few years ago, someone had suggested to me that I do exercises specifically to strengthen my back. Have you ever tried anything like that? I never got around to it, since that was at a time that I just thought about doing something but never did, but when I am able to, I am considering trying it if the pain starts again while I'm walking.

Well, I am doing some back strengthening exercise at the gym. Part of it in particular abdominal exercises that should help when I strength my abs to support my lower back more. And part of me is wondering if its this wretched office chair. Thea nother part of me is pondering ovarian cysts as a possibility. :confused: Thank you for the suggestions !! As it is quiet here this morning I think I will google for some other exercises to try. :D I really hadn't done much thinking of that aspect... I'll let you know if I find any good ones :)
