Awww.. thank you guys! You know I am sure to go to the gym tonight just so I don't let you ladies down. Last night I had all intentions to go until I realized mid afternoon that we had our friends coming over for our weekly dinner! (we usually do this every Thursday) so from 7pm on we were tied up until 10! The gym was closed and I was insanely tired. :) But I will be going tonight, and every day this weekend!!

I'm def. suffering from some chocolate cravings, so the m&m's in my trail mix will have to be my "fix" for now! i h aven't binged at all in weeks all thanks to you guys, I don't want to let anyone down here or have to confess that failure! :) SO thanks again everyone!
 
Chocolate Problems

hey !!

I'm having chocolate problems too with the Valentine's spirit at work. Every morning somebody leave some chocolate at my desk. I've been giving them to a skinny friend that I have. Still is a badddd temptation to me. The worst thing is that we are not even in February and there is a lot of chocolates around!!!!

Let's keep avoiding chocolate!

LMAO! You had me cracking up with that one. I can't count how many times I've picked the trail mix with the m&m's, then ate all the M&M's first. I guess I'm not the only one. hehe Stay away from low carb chocolate, it has a laxative effect incase you weren't aware.
 
MJ, oh yeah I can't eat most things with "substitutes" low carb or low sugar, because of the substitutes and their laxative affects.. of course that is ONE unhealthy way to lose weight. :p
 
As for those lovely Trail Mix M&M's, honestly.. I've been eating everything else first and saving thsoe for last, so I can have them all at once!!! :D but I used to always eat them first. Now I have something to look forward to!

Mid-morning Snack: 1/4 cup trail mix 150 calories
Lunch:rice chex 130 calories & half soup serving 45 calories, 175 calories
Dinner:chicken soup 330 calories
Subtotal: 895 calories
Dessert: 1 peanut butter cup & rice chex.
Total Calories 1145

Ok, I start today off with a confession. Last night (I will edit my last food journaling) I ate a reeses peanut butter cup after my dessert! :eek: The real kicker is that I was feeling SO guilty over this and stressing out because when my FH brought them home a week ago, I was appalled, glanced at the pkg contents and saw it said 480 calories. I thought that was for ONE peanut butter cup. So last night I was like, OMG I had a cheat day, but I really shot it to heck by eating one of those 480 calorie candies. I'm SO awful. So I was having this pity party and trying to calculate this morning how I could fit in a lot of cardio this weekend and cut back on all my eating to make up for that 480 calorie boo-boo. Well then.. I look at the pkg again this morning before I left for work. DOH! :rolleyes: Its 480 for ALL four of those peanut butter cups.. not just one! PHEW. So I still cheated and shouldn't of indulged, but at least it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought!! :) THANK goodness!! Good news is, I DID make it to the gym this morning at 5:30. And I scheduled a meeting with my trainer at 5:30 Monday morning. Can't sleep in when I have to MEET someone! :D

Edited: I also informed my FH of my mistake, and he giggled quite a bit!! :) He just doesn't understand my calorie counting!

HI New leaf!!

I know how you feel about cheating. The most important thing is not keeping that behavior. I think is good to have something you really want sometimes but not everyday. No more chocolate for the weekend;) !!! Excercises and Water instead.

Chimistar, thanks.. but am I already failing cause I've been eating cocoa puffs for my breakfast?? :) lol.. OMG I need help!!!

Seriously I wanted chocolate so bad last night, that I felt like my skin was crawling.. like some crack addict in rehab for the first night! BAHH! :D
 
Hey hun! Just wanting to say hello!! OMG... I can't stay away from the Peanut Butter Hearts.. or Cups.. So I really do understand why you cheated! But not that big a deal.. Dont let it get you down just keep at it!!! Hope you have a great day today!

Hey.. Kate leave my cuckoo out of this! ;) Hehe just teasing!

My trainer is nice. Three sessions came with the year membership to our gym. My only problem is, I'm not sure she really has focused no what our goals are entirely, (mainly to lose weight) and she's very over weight herself. So that does not exactly inspire me. BUT good thing is, it does not intimidate me either.

but Kate you're doing great on your own!! :D Thanks for all the support.. mm now where did those cocoa puffs go?! ;)

Breakfast: 2 cups of cocoa puffs, 240 calories
Exercise: 30 minutes cardio on the treadmill, various inclines & 30 minutes upper body weights
Exercise: 3.5 hike on the trails w/ FH (it was SO pretty and nice out!)
Lunch: soup in bread boul at Quizznos & pepsi, no idea on calories !
Dinner: 1 cup of soup 300 calories
Dessert: oy! not so great 1/4th cup trail mix 150 calories, 1/2 cup of low fat ice cream 60 calories, I KNOW I ate somethin gelse I just can't remember..ack! :) Boy its that TOM!

Hey guys. I am feeling pretty good today about things. Unfortunately I pulled a muscle in my shoulder, doing my weight routine and I am in a lot of pain right now! :( I think I need to reschedule my appt. with my trainer as I'm not able to do any upper body lifting on the left side as of yet until this heals. I don't know what I did different when lifting, but I sure hope I don't do that again!! :) At least I can still hike and move my legs! ;)

Hey!

Im still putting off getting up the money for some weights. I would probably pull a few things myself, because I am a wuss when It comes to lifting. Ive done it, and find for some reasons I like the way butterflys make me feel. Doesnt hurt the sagging boobie syndrome either, they say!:p

Hope you heal fast, and looking good on everything!
