updated menu:

Brunch: 2 poached eggs, 2 slices of toast, 2 slices of turkey bacon. [140+140+70]
(350 calories)

Dinner: Shrimp and fries. A few pieces fried, grilled, boiled. Oh and a few French fries with some ketchup.
(1000 calories)

Snack: protein bar after the gym
(190 calories)

Drinks: water,coffee, 16 oz of 2% milk.
(240 calories)

Total: 1780 calories


Well back from the gym and beat. I did half an hour on the elliptical and then I worked on my arms, shoulders,chest and the elliptical worked on toning the lower parts lol. I was pushing myself harder than normal and after half an hour I was spent.

yea it's going pretty well. I would be more but I'm re-losing 40 pounds that snuck back up on me. That's life I guess but it's coming off this time. I'm eating better than ever and I got a gym membership and I just take it one day at a time. The good thing about being so large is I can still take in about 2000 calories and still lose weight; for now anyhow. right now I'm going to the gym about every other day because honestly being a big guy it just really zaps my energy.
Well the important thing is that you are back on track taking control of the situation. I'm taking it one day at time, every day when I wake up I'm saying to myself "TODAY, I will eat healthy and I will exercise. If I want a day off, that day is TOMORROW not TODAY" And then the next day I say the same thing.

My father in law showed up with about 20 pounds of shrimp today so It wasn't on my menu but now it is. 1000 calories should cover it. I'm sure it wont be that high because boiled and grilled shrimp are fairly low in calories.

YUMMMY - I love shrimp:)

Maybe walmart has one they have every thing else lol......

Ha Ha Ha - well keep checkin the shelves:)they get new shipment all the time...and they do have pretty much everything!!! Let me knwo when ya find one:)Or maybe you need invent somethign that you can take along with you that will take a picture of the food and spit out a calorie count and everything else for you on the spot:)

Hey can I tell you it wouldn't take much just to say stuff it and order a huge chocolate cake and a quart of Ice cold milk. Even when I came off of my diet a bit I was still making reasonable choices and thats why only 40 came back and not the whole thing lol...... I'm going to do it this time and once I get down to about 350 i'll know it's all working.

Hee hee hee - tha tis cute:)Ya know even when I wanna be bad I cant really be bad anymore...my stupid healthier living mindset takes over...ok well with exceptions to Mcdonalds the other day...and to be honest I order the meal I did because I was pressured and stressed for tiem and couldnt make a decision but that meal was so rare for me...

Once we get this down it is hard to shake...which is a good thing...


The other night when I stayed on for an hour my legs felt like I had been drinking lol. I could walk but it wasn't the straightest in the world. My legs are slowly getting stronger.

The one thing I hate about the weight training is it makes my scale go coo-coo.

Ya sometimes whenI get off that bastard thing I have a hard time walking for a few secs...or like last night when I went to goon my walk...my right thigh was having some major issues, lol...it was complaining quite badly....

The coo coo scale I would assume is muscel ???

You are doing great getting yourself to the gym I really needed to exersice lastnight but I used the exuse of being down at my daughters practice and grocery shopping as an exuse not to do anything,I was so tired but should have MADE myself walk or something. Your meneue looks good even after the fries and fried shrimp your cals were right on target!I so wanted APPLEBEES lastnight especially "the blondie"desert geeesh get out of my head already :boxing: haha.Heres :beerchug: to a gr8 day......Tammy

Hey sunny thanks for stopping by. Since I slept so late I started right in with lunch. I had an indian food frozen dinner and that was about 320 calories. That leaves me room for a big dinner. It's till early at 4 pm lol.

Well it's been a long day. I got a job at an environmental contract company. It's decent pay and plenty of hours. The only bad thing is it's a 24hr on call type of thing. It has a full benefits package so it will be good for the family.

The family wants to go out for Chinese food so if I do I'll just have to watch what I eat. I don't know much about the calories in Chinese but since most is a starch base I'm sure they are high. I have room because for brunch was an Indian food frozen dinner at 320 calories and about an hour ago I had a slice of watermelon and I don't think they have alot of calories.

I have to do the whole drug test and physical tomorrow morning. I have to be there at 7:30 am. Man thats gonna be a shock to my system. Thats normally the time I'm just sleeping good.

As far as dinner I really don't want the extra calories of Chinese so we will just see what happens.....
 
I ended up at a Chinese buffet. I kept my wits about me and only had a small piece of chocolate cake and a chocolate chip cookie. The only calories I had had before that was brunch and a snack which only came to about 420 or so. I know I didn't get out of my maintenance calories so I'm sure it was a good day.


Brunch: Frozen Indian food dinner.
(320 calories)

Dinner: Chinese; I was pretty good. The only bad thing I had was a small piece of chocolate cake and 1 chocolate chip cookie.

Snack: Slice of watermelon.
(100 calories)

Drinks: water, Iced tea.
(0 calories)

Total: 420 calories + dinner so I should be under my maintenance calories.

Don't you dare lol. And in my own defense the piece of chocolate cake was this wide 1---------1 and about this long 1-------------------1 and to keep all the perverts at rest we are talking about chocolate cake lol. I am going to the gym but still kinda full so not sure about the elliptical. I think I'm gonna go and mess with some of the free weights and see how it goes. I'm not having anything else today to eat except maybe some grapes after the gym.

It's strange when you cut out sugar and then eat some; it's almost a sickly sweet. I'm heading out now;I have to go do the pre employment DOT physical in the morning which checks everything under the sun. It's about a 4 hour physical and then I'll be able to start going to the safety classes Monday.

I just didn't have the energy for a bunch. Since I have to get up about 6:30 am I was in a hurry but I wanted to get at least a few calories burned off. I hope everyones night has been going well....
