a Hillbilly diary

Just passing through catching up (back from holiday)

You sure you arnt santa clause with all those stops ?
Pass a diamond ring my way - i heard other members were getting some but i appear to have misssed out! :D

well I made it a point not to bring food home from all the visiting we did. I'm gonna buy a turkey next week probably and use it for some lean meat for just whatever. Now the dark meat I'm not sure about. It will have calories in it all but I'll do some calculations and see how much of it I can have. I'm getting back on my old diet so I'll be watching what I eat rather than the calories but I'll list my food so I can keep a running tab on them as well. As far as sugar I'll have some but offset it with splenda here and there. I'm going to stay away from concentrated sugar with the exception of the occasional coke; I just can't do diet cokes. I'll weigh myself in the morning to get a baseline though I know I'm going to hate the numbers it shows.
We did get a magic bullet thing from someone in her family and Ill see what kind of low calorie things I can whip up with 1% milk and some splenda and vanilla maybe. With my blood pressure I can do the diet pills so this round will be much harder than the last.

Happy Holidays

no worries I just had to get the holidays out of the way. I'll go grocery shopping when I get paid sometime around the 30th. So until then I'll just be limiting how much white bread and such I eat.....

well first day back on my diet and it's going.................

Breakfast: never got around to it.

Lunch: never got around to it.

Haven't been skipping meals to do without just been store hopping and just never got around to it. My options were the pre-cooked deli foods or fast food so I opted for nada. I'll just have to watch it tonight so i don't eat and eat till 2 am. Other than all that it's going ok. I guess too little food is better than way too much.

I'd better do a weigh in tomorrow because there ain't no way I'm where I left off.

Hey there Hillbillie,
I was way way off where I left off at and I am paying for it now
I was assuming 3-5 lbs but 8 lbs geeeesh!
Ok my question is why did you quit the lowcarb dieting? I am assuming it gets
boring and maybe run out of new foods to eat,atleast that would be my main problem cuz that is 1 goodthing about lowcalorie dieting is the variety of the food and food groups you get but with low carb you get the full feeling.So we''l see.........Your plan looks great I wish ya luck and I know were gonna lose the weight we need to lose this year (lol 2007)!!!!
Have a great day and goodluck,Tammy:)

as long as i was just eating no carb it was melting off but as soon as I had some fruit or veggies at all it totally stopped. Then what took me three months to get off was back in about 3 weeks.

honestly it was probably the lack of pasta lol.....

well I wont be able to count the calories on the chili but if I'm not under I shouldn't be way over. It's kinda hard to say since I haven't weighed yet so I'm not sure of where my maintenance calories are at the moment.

Breakfast: none

Lunch: none

Dinner: beef chili with some sliced toasted wheat baguettes. {?}

Snack: chicken sandwich on wheat with light salad dressing, cheese, chicken and two servings of cheese poofs (yea I want some cheesy poofs) {70+70+20+55+60+160+160}
(595 calories)

Snack: McDonald’s Caesar salad without chicken and dressing
(280 calories)

Drinks: water, diet coke, two cups of unsweetened cinnamon green tea.
(0 calories)

Total: 875 calories + dinner

Well not a bad first day back on the wagon. I'll weigh myself in the morning but my maintenance calories are going to be in the low 3000's so I know I came in under that. Just really hate those meals you have to guesstimate.
