a Hillbilly diary

I hope you hear good news HB! I get to hire two people in the next few weeks. I always hate doing interviews...it is soooo hard to pick for the position. I bet you looked GREAT for your interview too!!

Well today is going ok other than no diet in site. Oh how easy it would be just to start drinking cokes again and be happy..... Well for awhile anyhow. Today has been one huge monsoon day. Everything is flooded. I'm not sure how it looks to show up for a interview in the middle of a huge storm. I either looked excited or desperate. I think I did and said everything right on the interview so as long as someone there doesn't have a brother or something that needs a job, I'm expecting good news.

No!! Stay away from the coke! You've been clean for so long - don't ruin the hard work.

And braving monsoon season shows commitment & priorities. Sounds like you did really well!! Yay!! Hope they call you back soon!!

You know, I've been all about "moderation" blah, blah, blah...but when it came to sodas and coffee, I had to quit cold turkey and tell myself it just isn't an option.

Truth is, I know it is, I can buy a coke or have a coffee any time I want.
I still haven't bought a coke. I just don't think the calories are worth it. That doesn't mean I won't ever, I just haven't found a day where I'm willing to do it.

I am sitting with a small tea cup of coffee in front of me for the first time in close to 6 months. I bought Bob a new creamer that I wanted to try, and it doesn't taste good - I'm glad!

I honestly think once I start, I might not stop...and I'm better off with out it.

If you want a coke Randy, drink one and move on, but do you *really* want it?

how about a diet coke--zero calories, and you still get a hint of that old coke taste you liked, but without the guilt trip. think about it this way, it's either the diet coke sometimes or the regular coke never. how badly are you in need of a fix?

yea it was ok..... had a dream about some girl but she kept going the other way lol.....ah well the kids will want something to eat soon. they seem to insist on it at least once a day.

If I don't feed my kid he just gets into the fridge himself and thinks he's got everything under control. Some of the stuff I've seen him eat would make you vomit.

Well stopping this diet is getting closer and closer. I just don't have the drive I use to since the weight loss stopped. I have been having oatmeal and such at night but nothing drastic yet. It's just a thought to ponder I guess......

Hey HB, Dont get distracted and demotivated.
I was the same way recently and until i signed up for a cycling race. Find something to challenge yourself - to work towards.

How far have you come and how much further have you got to go ?
