dariqueen wow you have really been in the mood to read. Willpower me? It's one of those things that I have to do. I slip like everyone else so it's just that thing we do.

M It wont so much be lounging. I have some homework due this week and it would be nice to do it while I'm off rather than the hour before class lol.

Ohappydaye Na, no work at the moment just school. I have about 9 months left. It's a hard three days a week lol. It going to get hard when I do go back to work and have to do it for 6-7 days a week. not looking forward to it.

One good thing about keeping a diary of sorts and listing your foods is you can see different patterns. I noticed as my weight started to slow my carbs and raw sugar climbed up. As much as I hate to do it again I'm going to have to lose the carbs and sugar all together for a week or so. Sugar has always been my downfall my body likes to store it and then my appetite goes through the roof. I got to looking at the milk and potato soup and white rice and sugar in my coffee and damn my body is a sneaky critter. I didn't really notice it. Today I'm gonna have my last sweet coffee;well it's only 2 tbs of sugar with about 2 ounces of milk but all the same I'll have to stop that. Most of the time late at night when I have had all my food and I just feel starved I'll make some coffee and it settles everything down. Now I'm thinking its just the sugar in it. People are addicted to all sorts of things from drugs to caffeine and now I'm sure you can become dependent on sugar and carbs.
I'm not only a member of the sugar addicts I'm the president.
 
Good for you recognizing the problem and confronting it. Its only to easy to kid yourself and try and justify things.

Well I'm behind my meals as is the norm. Sometime the diet pills I take don't seem to work and other days they are on overdrive. I wish I could find something that would just kill the sweet tooth and thats all. Other than that I got some grass cutting in but only about 30 minutes worth then the sky let loose. so far a pretty good day.
 
OH I would rather have a nice big juicy steak and baked potato vs' anything sweet!

I hope you find the power to resist the sugar!
 
Sweet isn’t my problem. Pasta, pizza, chips, savory pastry, bread etc is.
A carb by any other name would taste as good.:rolleyes:
 
I'm not sure what my problems are, besides pepsi. And I've been doing pretty good with that, considering :D I think it's pasta. I can't give it up, but I'm trying my hardest to cut down on portion size. Maybe that's what I need to cut out next :(

Bad me food: Sweet coffee. 4 cups of coffee with 3 tbs sugar, 4 oz 1% milk {105+55}
(160 calories)

Drinks: water, tea
(0 calories)

BMR is 3583
Total today is: 1528 calories

 
Well today was mostly a good day. Stayed on my plan and the 2 things I had that I didn't really need were planned into the calories so not bad. I'm back at school tomorrow and the only bad thing is its comp 2 day ::::::::shivers::::::
I really feel bad everyone works so hard on their reports and such and I bang it out in three hours the night before. I would sit and write more but I just get bored with it. It just doesn't seem to hold my attention long enough to get through a few pages. The class has nothing to do with electronics but I think its part of the degree program as well as math 1&2 and physics. well I suppose you have to take the good with the bad. The good thing is after this class my academics are done and its all electronics except for one group dynamics class last quarter and I have no idea what thats all about. Well I need to get to bed halfway early tonight I already have one ticket for no inspection sticker and I'm going to school early to try to sneak under their radar lol..... nite all.

Great job on cutting back the sugar and carbs! It's NOT easy!! I could eat salad or steamed veggies and desert ALL DAY!! If you are denouncing your title as president of the sugar addicts association - may I run for election? LOL! :rolleyes:

Yea it's a bad bug lol. I started off fixing computers then it moved to building computers then I got to wondering about what all the gizmos are on the mother/main board. Since I had had a bunch of back surgeries I needed to find a new career anyhow so it seemed like the thing to get into. Now the only problem is before when something broke we would go out and get a new one now the wife and kids hollar "fix it.":rolleyes:
