I can't believe that after only getting to sleep at 8am, then you woke up at noon!! When I fall asleep really late (like 5am or something) I tend to sleep a lot more of my day away than that!

I'm so sorry you deal with such bad insomnia, but I agree--if you've got all that other medication to take, probably not a good idea to throw sleeping pills in. :s Hope things get better for you...

I won't lie I'm as tired as a June bug flying back wards in a tornado but if I sleep now I'll never make it to school. Ever since my back surgeries I get these bouts of not sleeping so no telling. Today is really going pretty well otherwise. Food is going well but no exercise in the forecast. It's been raining just enough to keep everything nasty to where a walk just isn't feasible. Hope everyone is having a good day.......
 
Just wanted to check in and say Hi Hillbillee. I really wish you the best of luck with everything. I hope the sleep comes for you. A well rested body is key when staying motivated and on top of life. Keep at it!

It only last for a few days at a time. Honestly I think it's just the family and trying to find a job or internship 9 months before school ends.

no time off for dads........
 
Na I'll always remember what it was like in the 4's. I'll tell ya my back feels better and my blood pressure has come down some and It's just a great feeling you'll love it. I haven't been in the 2's in so long that will be a strange feeling.
 
Yeah, you can lose a lot of sleep tossing and turning, worrying about family, job, school. Been there, done that.

If the TV is on, turn it off. If there are lights on, turn them off. Put on just a light by your bed, pick up a book and start reading. Make it a boring one, those can put me out in just a page or two. Gets your mind off other things.
 
Thanks all... I have catching up on some sleep that was long over due. Every thing seems to be going well. Managed to get all my clothes for the school job fair in San Antonio. I decided to go with some black dress shoes and some black slacks. I went went the black suit dress pants so no pleats lol. The shirt I'm not too crazy about but I might see about exchanging it. It's a short sleeve button up but not crazy about the color and pattern so I'll see about swapping it. Being a typical guy and doesn't do the whole color matching thing I went with an entirely black bottom half that way the top could be any color under the sun and still match lol. It's one of those things that looked fine in the store but as you look at it you decide that eh it's not really me.
YesterdayI stayed well within my calories. It has been eggs for breakfast and lunch was a fresh spinach salad and dinner was some kinda beef roast but I didn't cook it so not sure on the calories. Snacks were a few sandwiches and some sugar free candies.
today So far has been eggs for breakfast and two sandwiches for lunch. Dinner is still up in the air but I'll get in there and rummage in a few minutes.
 
Keep up the good work! Congratulations on the sleep! When I can't, I turn on the Animal Planet in the middle of the night, puts me right out!

Dinner: Half a head of cabbage stir fried with turkey bacon and 2 table spoons of olive oil. {150+70+220}
(440 calories)

Snack: 4 eggs
(280 calories)

Drinks: water.
(0 calories)

BMR is 4037(moved up into the lightly active BMR stage)
Total today is: 1290 calories. That’s way too low so ill grab some other snack later just not sure what yet.
