a Hillbilly diary

well I got an hour of mowing in before the rain gods cut loose. Don't think I'll be doing anymore for the next few days. Well that was 437 calories burned plus the 3583 just for being alive. So today I'm in the negative so that must be a good thing. Tonight has been ok other than tired but thats the norm.

Food wise it went well though I haven't even looked at calories. I have been doing that more and more. Now that I have learned more what to eat, I can pretty much run a ballpark figure being good or bad.

Breakfast was an egg sandwich.

Lunch was large can of tuna fish with some wheat bread and the fixins.

Dinner was just something I threw together with some hamburger and diced potatoes with onion and bell peppers.

It's not near enough but I'm just not hungry. I might have an apple later but thats kinda up in the air.

Good Morning!!!!!!!! Food looks good. And great job on being active yesterday!!! Have a GREAT Day and hope you got some rest. Don'yt forget your WATER:p

we call them Great Northern beans. I have seen them as Italian white beans and i have even seen them as extra large navy beans.... the poor things just can't decide on a name lol.....

Well I weighed myself today and still nothing. Its like the more exercise I get the less that happens. I seem to get more results as a couch potato. The only thing I can see is if all the yard work is building muscle and off setting the numbers. Honestly I think I'm just in an old fashioned plateau.

68 lb! That's quite an inspiration to me. I think you're doing really well. I hope your plateau breaks soon.

If I was down closer to where I want to be and it stalled I would kinda be upset. I have such a long way to go that it's disappointing but not the end of the world.

cannellini beans and they make a great dip if you mash 'em up... or put 'em in a chicken stock soup with some escarole... tasty stuff.

Hi Hillbillylee!

I just read your post about where you said you feel you lose more as a couch potato- I felt the same way!!!

A year ago when I went on the diet, I lost 30 pounds in something like 2 months and was very suprised. Now since dieting, I have only lost something like 15... The time I lost 30 pounds I was not excersizing either... BUT I was extremely depressed in that time period, and it may have something to do with that??

I notice when I am depressed I lose weight easier, and when I am happy it is much much harder to lose weight... So maybe you are just happy! But hey- I would rather be happy and losing weight slower then before! I also thought it was odd to not lose as much when excersizing but maybe it is just the muscle??

Maybe I'm just talking jibbrish... But maybe the mood does have more to do with it then we think!

-K-

I always get the weigh in bug late at night after I have had dinner and everything else so I'm not freaking. Ill get a true weight Friday or Saturday morning. Other than that everything is going ok. I have one interview this week and a job fair on the 26th. I hate those but this one is in San Antonio so shouldn't be too bad. We are going down on a charter bus and there will be breakfast and lunch and dinner depending on the time. There are a few places that hire on the spot though you might have to relocate. They are more like paid internships so we will just have to see how all that goes.
