a Hillbilly diary

well feeling much better though it is 230 and have to get up at 7. I wonder if there is a rule about eating your breakfast at 3 in the morning then going to bed. I'm thinking it probably would be. Thats the only thing about not eating much for a few days, once you feel better you realize you are starved.

hehe yeah ive wondered that when im out for the night 'if its after midnight does it count as the next days allotment of calories?' and the other one is fitdays measurement of a cup 'a cup of cake ... mm i reckon i could get at least 3 or 4 slices to fit in a cup of i crammed them down'

well back again.... One this is i did find out that not eating much really kills your weight loss. I just hope it doesn't take took long to get my body burning again like it was.....

well its not a bad thing. I did lose 1lb but I'm just use to more. though being sick i just didn't eat as much as i should and i found that i just wasn't thirsty. So now had breakfast and a few glasses of water. Thinking I want some tea now, Man i woke up with the thirsties lol. I'm going to the store today to get some better for me groceries. I have eating the lean gourmets and they are fine with the low calories although most of them are pasta or rice based so I'm going to get away from them for awhile. There are still a few left in the deep freeze so ill just have one here or there. Think this week I'm going to try and get some chicken and maybe fix some of the fish i caught or maybe make me an improvised sushi. Maybe a ceviche, that would be good. Well I'm feeling better so now Next weeks weigh in should be a good thing. I will skip cheat night till everything gets back on track. Tomorrow I'm thinking someplace that has a huge salad, Maybe golden corral or applebee's. well enough rambling my xbox is calling me lol......

hahaha i can totally relate to the friends and the diet part.
Funnily enough its amazing sometimes that people KNOW you're on a diet and can see the results but still say or do stuff to sabotage it like 'hey lets go down to Burger King' or whenever you eat with them they go 'hey why arnt you eating xxxx.' or 'is there something wrong with you? why arnt you eatin?' etc lol

Hey lee thanks for posting in my diary and I apologise for it taking me so long to get in here. Your food looks really good and your steady weight loss in continuing which is great! Keep up the good work and I will keep my eyes open for a nice lad!:p

So glad to hear you are feeling better. You're right, it really does a number on weight loss when you don't eat...go figure!!!! Hope everything evens out this week and your body realized that you aren't starving yourself and that Anna subsequently cooperates!! LOL!!!

Have a good one!

Thanks all. Yea friends are tough when your on a diet. no one seems to want salad when Chinese is cheaper. well honestly i think they just like it better. I don't expect them to change what they like just because i don't really need it.
After dinner we normally go out to a local coffee house. Its like starbucks but only a micro version lol. So instead of the loaded frap with the syrup and whip dripping from the top I get a double espresso and they give me looks on that. Instead of the relaxed atmosphere we use to have its now tense, to me anyhow. well on a better note I went to the seafood store and they had a huge piece of salmon so I bought me a quarter fillet. I have been craving gravlox. If you don't know much about it, I think its a Scandinavian dish. The fish is normally packed with a mixture of salt and sugar and dill and wrapped in plastic and weighted and put in the fridge for up to about 72 hours. Its not cooked but with the curing it doesn't seem raw either. Now just about everyone up north knows what it is but down south its not quite that common. Anyway its good on salads and cream cheese bagels and just about anything. What can I say I had a craving lol. I'm not sure about the calories since the salt and sugar mix is washed off but I'm sure the meat absorbs some in the curing process. Anyhow is should be done tomorrow. Anyhow this is what I'm having today as far as food goes.............

I'm sorry that your friends aren't being as supportive as you'd like, that's gotta be tough. Chin up though...you've got us! :)

Hehe yeah i think times like this you find out who you're friends are more lol. I had a word with one of my friends in private because she embarassed me asking me 'why arnt you eating?!' every 5 minutes in front of everyone.

Hey Lee - I have some lox in the fridge now ( I love it!!!) and the package says 33 calories per oz. - I'm not sure how that compares to plain salmon though.

think i need to get some girl- friends the guys ehhhhh..... that sounds about right on the calories on the gravlox. Salmon is pretty low in calories and the curring process I don't think adds much to it. Its easy enough to go buy it but I was in a creative mood. The good thing is I'm the only one that will eat it so I don't need to worry about snackers lol......
