I called one of my instructors about it and she said it was a good company. She said it was the kind of job to have on a resume. So I think I'll check into it.
 
Breakfast: Cup of sweet coffee out of the machine.
(100 calories)

Lunch: McDonald's; 10 piece nuggets, quarter pounder with out cheese and a baked apple pie.
(1090 calories) {This was a snack as well just didn’t list it separate.}

Dinner: I’ll find something that doesn’t involve cooking.

Snack: unsweetened applesauce
(150 calories)

Drinks: water, tea
(0 calories)


Total: 1340
 
well today is going ok. I'm sick but nothing 1000cc's of vitamin c for a few days wouldn't cure lol. A friend of mine works at McDonald's and has given me a bunch of meat. quarter pounder patties anyone? I have no idea how many calories are in them but I have a whole case to contend with. Along with nuggets and some grilled chicken something or other lol. Why can't I meet a nice girl that works in a health food store lol........
Dinner isn't looking to promising. I just had my snack of applesauce but Not sure what to have for dinner and it's what......10:10 pm. Might just skip it, this flu or whatever has really zapped my appetite.
I'm so sick that Ms. Mal's menu didn't even do anything for me and I love goat cheese lol.............

Thanks yall. I woke up feeling almost human again. I had a bout of fever last night but when I woke up I feel better so lets hope it stays........ got school....laters...........
 
Well I got a call from schlumberger today. I have a phone interview for 8:30 in the morning. It's a long process I'm sure. It's probably the first step in 20 lol. Ah well it's a chance anyhow. I have the plastic thing so ill be working till then. The only bad thing is the last person that got hired from the at the school got handed a plane ticket to china the day before she walked. I would still like to walk so we will have to see how that all goes.
 
Yea it's alot going on at once. No job then one then a huge one on the way I hope. Phone interview???????? I have never heard of such a thing. Well it gives me time to do some research on the company and get my lies errr ahh facts together.
 
phone interviews are pretty common - saves the company a lot of time ot see if they really want to bring you in for an interview..

When doing the phone interview.. sit up straight, smile and speak clearly... your posture can be heard thru the phone.. trust me :D

good luck with it - knock 'em dead.. :D or as the sign on my door says, if you can't dazzle 'em with your intellect, baffle 'em wiht your bullshit... :D

I'm not sure what they will ask but pretty much same as a normal interview. why to you want to work for us? where do you want to be in 5 years? I'll stay up late tonight(like normal) reading up on their company. I'll put notes on my resume' and wing it.

Well I'm glad I stayed up looking into the company. They asked me all kinds of questions like Do you know If we are run by a board of directors or an individual owner? what kind of work do we do? why should we hire you?
The kid aced it and she said, " randy just so you know I'm highly recommending you for employment."
They sent a alternate website with a password (how James bond lol) and I could choose three places to apply. My first choice was the supervisory thing; you deal with safety issues, keep crew motivated an working and liaison with customer. It's a 5 year contract in Saudi Arabia. Don't worry ain't skeered. The family would be located in a safe zone in Europe someplace, possibly or china just so on my time off i can make arrangements to see them. The automated application said I must answer 6 questions to proceed. the only problem is they left the questions black so i had to guess the meaning behind them. I'm guessing it was asking about my ability to work and If I know it was an overseas assignment. The second is here in America as an electronics tech and the third is more the guy that deals more with the roughnecks and the heavy equipment they use, and that is the very last choice. well gotta run
