Sorry I couldn't offer you another spam message, but I think a reliable scale makes a big difference. I know when I needed a 500 capacity scale getting one was a big help.

Hi HB. :seeya:

I just looked at Bed Bath and Beyond's website. They have a couple of different scales that go to 400 for 39.99. :coolgleamA:

I knew I was losing weight by the way my clothes fit. I still wanted visual confirmation on the scales. :hurray:

Hey I don't mind spam. mine lasted a few years so I'll probably just get another. My clothes are getting loose but I still want the confirmation from the scales.....

Hey girl.....:waving:
yea thats where I'm going to go tomorrow. The last scale I got lasted a year or two so for 40.oo it's not a bad price.

Hey there Hilly,I understand your wife not wanting to go,it took me 6 years and lots of kids getting hurt and doing bad in school to get me to go,but I flat out said I don't want my son a zombie and I swear this medcine is a miracle he is definatley NOT sleepy and he is so focused on reading drawing writing ect,my mother in law couldn't belive it when she took him and my girls out to eat after just a few days on the medicine there was no flying dinner rolls(yep that was my son lol)he sat and colored those lil packets they give the kiddies the whole time, ate his food didn't fight with his sisters.
There are some bad meds but if and your wife do decide you can check out the med online like I did and I had a brochure to my house to reaD UP MORE ON IT.Here is the correct spelling"VYVANSE" ..

I wish you all the best with getting a good accurate scale,I have had 4 since I have been dieting, the digatal was always WAY off,the healthometer circle one started me out more so I said what the heck I am sticking with the same scale I have weighed myself on since I was 255 lol. $40 isn't to bad if it is a nice accurate 1.Your menue looks great and please explain the sugar free mocha latte I posted a thread wanting more info on those and where to get them and the nutrional info?TY,Tammy

yeah agreed on the hyper kids prob. My son was very hyper when younger and still has trouble concentrating. I was adverse to getting drugs for the same reasons as you. Luckily enough hes learnt that hes a little different and can control himself a whole lot more.
He still has concentration problems and constantly jiggles and does small naughty stuff but he calls himself on it :)

yea we are going to check into it. He just constantly bounces off the walls.

The lattes I get from starbucks. It's just sugar free syrup with espresso and 2% milk. I haven't looked it up but the manager told me for the tall its about 150 calories as long as you don't add whip cream. you could probably lessen the calories by using a soy milk but :puke:

I love the sugar free fat free Vanilla Latte. For a tall it is only 90 calories. They are so yummy. No fat and no sugar. Can't beat that.

Zombie is overstating it. Think of how exhausted, mentally exhausted your child might be right now. The right med will make life easier for him. His burden will lessen with the right drug but it takes time to find a good one. Everyone is different.

:leaving: Popping in to see how your doing!!I will check back in
after you post.:leaving:

I think I'm doing really well. Took the doctors releases to my employer and now tomorrow I have to go see their doctor for a release and then I'll probably drag my feet for the weekend and be back at work Monday.

Breakfast: a poppy seed organic cracker thingie.( I ain't supposed to eat poppy seeds due to drug testing false positive but it was good....

Well hello everyone. :grouphug:

Well I went to the family doctor today to check my blood pressure. since the angioplasty my blood pressure is now 101/57 with a pulse of 60......

Now that my blood pressure is down she put me on an appetite suppressant; adipex-p. I think it's just another name for phentermine. I think it's a mild amphetamine so the department of transportation drug people are going to throw a hissy fit. As long as it's under a prescription I don't really think they can do anything if it does show up.

My appetite is so large it's hard to eat right. I'm always hungry. she said this should cut the sugar craving so we will see. I have to see the company doctor in a little while so I wont start the diet meds until tomorrow.

other than that everything is ok. we have a small winter blast all the way down into the 40's or so tonight.

Hope everyone is doing well.............

Menu

Breakfast: half of a McDonald's steak, egg, and cheese bagel.

Snack: soup
Snack: banana with some raisins.

Drinks: water, coffee, grapefruit juice, sugar free mocha latte

Hi HB. The blood pressure looks awesome. I envy your pulse. Mine is usually in the mid 90's. I should say it used to be. One of my meds lowers it to between 65-82. On average now it is between 68-72. I have never had high blood pressure but my heart likes to speed up.

I hope the appetite suppressant does well for you. If it keeps you from being hungry and lowers your sugar cravings that is great. :hurray:

As for the 40's I am envious there as well. It is 6 here and windy. Brrrrrrr
