A goal without a plan is just a wish...

Looks good, but I can't hear you at all on the first two videos. My laptop speakers aren't that loud. Also I would talk just a little about posture during the exercises ie: with a lunge the most important part is the front knee, and b/c you can't see it in the video people who don't know the exercise will do it wrong cause knee pain.

I can't wait to see it and HEAR it with sound @ home tonight...!!! :D!! Congrats!! That's great!!! You look fabulous!!! :iagree:!!

Thank you. And I realize it's really quiet - I will probably re-make those videos if I start getting more views or getting comments from people. The speakers on my laptop are really loud and it's pretty quiet for me too but like I said I didn't want my roommates to hear me. I think that is a good idea to talk about posture. I will keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks again :)

Aw, Lisa I just looked at your weight loss pictures and your videos. You are so pretty and have such a sweet voice. First, congratulations on that weight loss!! Looking at the diff between 155 and 135 is so fantastic and totally inspiring to me. Thanks for sharing them because it makes me wanna keep going !!

The videos are just precious. It's not a question of "going to be" a hottie for Valentine's Day. You already ARE !!!! You are going to reach goal with your plan.

Darn - they block utube at work and I don't have a computer at home so I can't check it out. If I ever get to another computer at a friend's house I forsure would love to see it - sounds like fun.
Nice looking journal so far! I really see the focus coming back! I'm afriad I've already ruined the week for the weigh in but next week I am losing for sure!! You think your 15 min abs class is tough - you should try the 30 min core class I take - half the moves I can barely do - really need to make sure I take both those classes during the week to really improve that area! I wish they offered it every day!
So jealous your weekend starts today - I love Thursdays so much more than Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays! Have a good one!

2 days and no update? I'm getting worried - now I won't get to check in till Monday:cry: Hope you are good and things are going good - if not I'm here to listen. Have a great weekend Sarah.

Don't worry I'm still here :waving: Nothing to really update about. But I'll go over it real quick:

Did great all Wednesday, had a party at our house that night. So I drank a lot. Ate alright yesterday, had a REALLY good work out, weighed myself after a huge dinner and the number was pretty low for it being the end of the day... I didn't weigh in this morning, I'm waiting til Sunday for my official Valentine's Day weight! I have a good feeling and think I will meet my goal without a doubt!

I'm going home after work to get another nice workout in... I'll probably take tomorrow off... I'll be working all day and babysitting all night!

Gotta catch up on other journals now :)

BTW, yesterday decided that I'm going on vacation for Spring Break next month... with a bunch of girls to Panama City Beach, Florida!!!
I have GOT to step it up now! Gotta get this bikini body ready :coolgleamA: This is definitely a good thing for motivation!! I'm so excited, went tanning yesterday and tried on swim suits... I can't wait! :D I'd like to be 128 by then so if I get to my goal of 133 by this Sunday, that gives me 5 weeks to drop 5 pounds!

I CAN DO IT!!

I am sooooooo jealous!!! We were suppost to go away in March, but our finances have moved it too June :nopity:

Now that you`ve got some serious motivation I see some amazing results in your future :)

Well, I didn't meet my goal... but I'm not surprised. I didn't eat very well this weekend. I had great workouts but it just goes to show, working out is not enough!!!

Today I'm 135.2, which would be 0.2 lbs up from last week. Yesterday I had a chocolate attack. I also made a frozen pizza when I was babysitting and had 3 slices. Maybe without all the sweets and sodium, my weight could have been a little lower but I don't think it would have been by much.

ANYWAY, now it's REALLY time to kick it into high gear. Just a little over a month until my Spring Break trip... and I'm SO determined to push through this plateau shit! Even if I can't get to my goal of 128, I'd like to be at least 130 by then and I have GOT to get that will power back to say no to drinking when I'm around it, say no to late night snacking, and be VERY strict with my calories!

I'm going to the movies today with my friend and her sister, so my gaol for today is to NOT buy any snacks while I'm there! Seriously, that's a though one for me. I'll report back later :)

This thread is so motivating. I get to challenge myself everyday whenever I see something like this especially your scrolls! Its a pretty simple thing yet so motivating and its a really good approach towards being optimistic of loosing weight. Hopefully I can also get my scroll rolling as I see yours are getting faster.

YAY to movies without junk food. You will come out of the theatre feeling proud. I can't even tell you how many calories I consumed yesterday (lost it) so no worries on a few slices of pizza. You are going to kick the @#$%*!! out of this plateau for Spring Break.

Thanks guys! So the movie theater trip was a success! :) I had my popcorn that I packed (160 cal) and was satisfied with that. My friend brought a big bag of Gardetto's along and I was SO TEMPTED to dig my hand into the bag but I held back!

This morning I had a pretty nice work out. I ran on the treadmill for 1 mile @ 6.5 mph. Then I did 10 minutes of intervals - running 1 minute @ 7.0 mph and walking 1 minute @ 4.0 mph. Then I ran another mile @ 6.3 mph. After that I did 10 more minutes of the same intervals. This got me to 4 miles.

I did some kettle bell swings, side bends, arms work, abs, side planks... so I got a total body workout and felt GREAT :D

That's all for now! Hope everyone had a great weekend :)

What a beautiful Monday morning :) The sun is shining so bright, I love it! :D Can't wait for spring!

Ok, so here is my day so far:

Woke up, had some oatmeal for breakfast. Went to the gym.
- Ran 1 mile on the treadmill @ 6.5 mph.
- Walked 10 minutes on treadmill @ 3.5 mph, incline 7.
- Ran 1 mile around the track.
- Circuit training (leg curls, calf raise, 3-way dumbbell raise, dumbbell fly, triceps).
- Ran 1 mile around the track again.
- Came back to the weight room for some dumbbell bench presses, biceps curls, and side bends.
- Finished up with abs (basic, left/right side, bicycles, obliques crunches, side planks).

Just got back a little while ago and ate a banana and drank an EAS chocolate shake (17 g protein, 110 cal).

I have a feeling it's gonna be a great day :)

Yesterday ended up good! I kept my calories at 1,480 (so I was over by 30, but that's alright!) and the last thing I ate was at 6:30 PM... I didn't eat anything after that and I was awake until 10:30 PM!!!

I bought a bunch of healthy food yesterday, so my house is stocked with good things and now that I actually HAVE food, hopefully I won't mindlessly snack on whatever I can get my hands on since that's what I usually do. I also bought some Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches - only 140 calories, 2g of fat! They are a decent size too. Now I can have these if I need to satisfy my sweet tooth and get the most out of it so I don't have to eat 2 or 3 granola bars at once instead :D

Well, it's off to the gym now! The rest of the day is going to be really busy. I have to be in the library for as long as I can... HUGE exam on Thursday that I'm NOT ready for... and assignments to do for tomorrow... ugh. Can it just be spring break yet!?!?

Today's workout:

- Abs (basic, left/right, bicycles, obliques, side planks)

Food so far:
- Fiber One bar before gym (150 cal)
- Blueberry banana smoothie (190 cal)

Hey it's me Lisa - something happened with my account and I couldn't log in - remember when this happened to you- well it's really annoying!
Good work staying on track! I'm so excited for you taking that trip - good idea and awesome way to get some serious motivation back! Good luck studying - I always feel so sorry for you when you talk about school work - I do not miss that part of uni one bit!!
I'm not sure if I am going to stay with this new log in but I am keeping the new journal still for sure.
