So anyway, I still havent been eating the greatest, but (for reasons I dont want to go into) I think that's about the change come tomorrow. What has changed however is the fact that Ive gotten my ass back into the gym, and that feels fantastic. Okay, well, it didn't feel so hot this morning considering that I refused to allow myself to "ease" back into it, but I'm glad I pushed myself and kept at my previous level of intensity. If it's taught me anything, it's taught me that I never want to go a week without exercising again!

Personal question here: Having lost so much weight, have you had surgery to remove any loose skin? And how long have you been loosing weight? Was your loss fast enough to change your body so fast that you had a lot of loose skin issues, or was it gradual enough for your skin to tighten up as you went? I know, very personal stuff, but I've lost a significant amount, and have a belly I want to have fixed and was wondering if you had this done or if you had considered it.
 
I've been losing weight for nearly a year now, and no I have not had surgery to remove loose skin. I'm still not at my goal weight, which is 140. Once I do reach that point, I will consider surgery options for my stomach and breasts because I suspect that no matter what I do, or how slow I lose weight, I'm still going to have excess skin issues around my mid-section.
 
So today I'm going to post a bit more on my journal to keep myself accountable. My goal is to eat healthy ALL day and not cave in at dinner time. Off to a great start. Had a nice full breakfast and am planning on hitting the gym within an hour. I'm also going to be doing my couch25k with my sister-in-law this evening.

Fingers crossed that today I do it. It's August 1st after all, and July is over and done with - time for a new start and fresh approach. After all, I have a halloween costume that I need to fit into!
 
Yes!!! I had a great workout today at the Y, but I know I definitely put on some weight because my workout clothes were a bit snug. I also went at a completely different time and will continue to go at crazy times until i get back to my pre-binge weight because I really don't want the "regulars" to notice that ive gone up instead of down lol. This in itself is a great motivation for me!

Today's been a bum day. Woke up with a stuffed up nose and a sore throat from hell, but nonetheless, I have a date with the gym at 8am.

just wanted to say thanks for checking in on me the other day. it seems like i'm back on my feet this week...i'm hoping i stay there. i can't believe how much crap i've eaten the past few weeks, the last 2 weeks especially it was just out of control, i'm so ANGRY with myself...i now have added 11pounds that i need to loose :( why does it have to be so hard? but as i always do i'm leaving the past behind and only looking forward.

i'm glad to see that things are working out well for you now too...sorry to hear about the cold, i was there just a few weeks ago so know the horror your going through, hope you feel better soon. take care xoxo

Just wanted to say that skimming through your posts is totally motivating!! You've come a LONG way and should be very proud of yourself!! I hope you continue to have the strength that you do to eat healthy and go to the gym!! I'm starting my healthy eating lifestyle change this week, and I'll throw in exercise next week once my body has adjusted. I was just on a 3 week vacation where we ate nothing but crap, so my body is in turmoil with the healthy eats, lol.
