Hey Im new here. Ive been on a diet since the first of the year I weighed about 260 pounds at 6' 5" I was slightly overweight. I have quit drinking soda and have backed off to 1500 calories/day. I have cut the fat and the sugar out of my diet and have increased my consumption of healthy sources of protein and vegetables. I also put myself on a multivitamin at the request of my doctor to make up for the lost calories. To date I have lost 23 pounds and 2 1/2 inches off my stomach, but I want more. Based on my Body Mass Index I should weigh in the neighborhood of 185-200. I want to have a six pack and be able to do outdoor activities without having to be short of breath. My current excercise regimn includes 25 minutes on a cardio glide, 25 crunches, 150 jumping jacks, and 50 pushups every night I get home from work. On the weekends I jog 1.5-2.0 miles on both Saturday and Sunday. Its getting easier with each day to complete these tasks, but I don't want to plateau and I sure as hell don't want to go backwards and get off of this diet. Does anyone have any other suggestions for losing the last 25 pounds and getting a six pack stomach?
