just catching up. Wow on the hiking! that sounds fun. We havnt gone for a while - though the weather is pretty crap here atm (its almost winter now).
Its so heart breaking when you see nature ruined from various things, especially when its caused by humans.

Tom Petty sang: "Waiting is the hardest part"

And not one ---> + <--- on that whole list

Good Morning Everyone :)

No exercise for me today - I have to spend the morning moving in new furniture :D

And Randy - thanks for the reminder on that - I hadn't looked at it that way until you mentioned it!

your husband will be getting a good workout re-arranging furniture around the room every which way possible

Bwwwwahahahahaaaaaa!

That so wouldn't happen here - but then - you probably guessed that in your subtle sense of humor ;)

Bob will DROP the furniture in the first place he THINKS it should be - and will pronounce "I'm DONE." Then, when I want to try it every which way, he'll get all snippy and say "Can't you VISULALIZE it in your MIND?" "I can close my eyes and KNOW how it's all going to look wihtout having to MOVE it over and over again"

I'll bet $ I hear that at least twice today!

Well this is what we do here Debi. You've mopped up my tears a zillion times and shoved me back out the door and you've ALWAYS reminded me that we're in this for the long haul. Gawd knows I've lost my way more than once over 'why isn't this happening ??' aspect.

As I said before, when you shed, it's going to be a spectacular event and we'll all be here :D right along with you.

It hurts sometimes, yes it does but WLF bandaids are great healers :)

HA !! Bob has conventional wisdom. He KNOWS you're gonna move it anyhow so why expend the energy holding it with that man-annoyed look ??

The "I'm done" is only a ploy to get you to make up your mind faster - with the hopes of minimal re-arranging ;)

Bob's standing right here - and agrees 100%

As I was beginning to read my post, before I got to the "visualization" part, he started in, "Can't you just empty the room in your mind's eye and fill it in with the new furniture?" "With the right proportions?"

So I'm good for at least 1 time today already - the bet is an easy one!

Precisely!

But don't keep giving away our secrets, Randy!

My living room is small - there's only so much space I actually have to work with - and dammit - I'm going to try ALL available space ;)

Maybe for a couple of days even ;)

Hey M2M, just wanted to say a quick hi! You and you're mini-me look so cute together. I'm going to try to get H to get up and watch the baby so I can go to the salon before it gets packed as it does every Saturday. Anyway, just wanted to pop in to say hello--will check back later :).

Mindovermatter -
I visualize Deb standing in the middle of the room with her left hand on her hip and her right hand extended pointing to various spots in the room.

Deb, "Let's see....hmmm, no that chair over there, and the sofa over here."

Bob, " Visualize and attack honey, visualize and attack."

LOL, that was soo funny, especially Bob's line! SO funny!

Anyways, I hope that moving furniture goes well! I hate doing that kinda stuff, so it doesn't move :p

Fun, Fun, Fun NEW FURNITURE~~ Pls send some my way, I'm tired of looking at the same old crap sitting in my living room, I would do anything for a new set right about now. HAHAHAH Enjoy your day!! I think I'll go move the couch and big screen right now! LOL :D

Bwahaha on the furniture. :D Well done on snagging a man who might shift it again within two days.

Getting new furniture is great! My last lot was 16 months ago and every time I clean through that room I get happy about it all over again. :)

I really love that list of your monthly losses. It does put things into perspective seeing them set out like that for the long term doesn't it? And how good it is that a list where a third of the losses are 3 lb or less in a month has added up 81 pounds. I didn't quite get it when I first saw your list and had to add them up!! Fast math isn't my strong suit. (This same process is what happens when I put one or two little things in the supermarket cart and wonder why I have such a bill at the check out too!!)

Good Morning Everyone :)

So yesterday, we got all the furniture in (and got a new dishwasher in the bargain!) We put all the old stuff out in the garage, with a wonderful idea to have a garage sale this morning - so I got up at 5:30, made signs, went and hung them up, got all the stuff out and set up for a 7:00 am start time.

It's now 7:40, and everything is BACK in the garage and I'm done for the day.

I sold 1 dining room table and 6 chairs for $20 bucks.

That will pay to take the rest of the stuff to the dump ;) It's drizzling so bad here this morning, that we just can't stay out there!

We went to a party last night - a group of kids from the homeschool group have put together a garage band and it was their first performance - it was a blast!

I haven't been able to track calories or menu since Wednesday - I'll begin again today.

Sorry for not hitting diaries, I'll get back on track there too :D

Hi Deb, are you sure your husband has everything in the right place? Maybe you should try a different layout, since it's raining outside anyway. :D :D

Have a great Sunday!

Oh Tom,
You're a trouble maker!

He'd KILL me at this point ;)

Besides, I made him pull out a couch, chair, ottoman coffee table, 6 chairs, dining room table and a bunch of other stuff for the garage sale, only to have to move it back into the garage within an hour.

I think he's DONE with moving stuff ;)

My living room looks SO much better - it feels like a real grown up's living room ;)

The furniture we got isn't new, but new to us - it has some wear and I'll be cleaning the upholstery this week - but it is SO much nicer then what we had!

Now that I see the new thing under your name, I can't even remember the old one, lol.

I'm glad you like your furniture now! It's always nice to have furniture you like!
