I really have to advocate it...though getting down there was scary (Black's beach has a treacherous descent)...and ya have to pack light. I'd go again...and would love to vacation somewhere exotic that I didn't have to wear a bathing suit to swim and sunbathe...that would be heaven. Clothes have their place, but swimming sans clothes is the only way to go! :)

I did get my walk and exercises in...
4.03 miles (don't have the time hand)
Squats 4 sets x 10
Presses 3 sets x 10
One arm rows 3 sets x 10
Crunches 4 sets x 10
Pull ups - 2 halfs ;) I hoisted myself up then *very* slowly lowered myself

Well, it's not something I would do on such a regular basis if it wasn't for my 84 y/o mother-in-law, but it's about the only reason she leaves the house. So we get manicures and pedicures every two weeks.

A ridiculous indulgence, but she loves it and it gives the 3 generations of us some time together.
 
I was looking at my nails yesterday and i really need a manicure but i keep breaking nails so they have to grow a bit more (I never ever thought i'd hear myself say - i needed a manicure -i was a lifelong member of the biter club ).. i'd be too embarassed to have anyone touch my stinky feet :)

nice to have that family bonding time :)
 
Now see...I could live without the acrylics...but the pedicure - I don't think I'll EVER give those up ;)

You gotta get one Mal!
 
ooh, I love mani's and pedi's! My nail lady up and left town, leaving 1000+ women with nobody to do their nails. My tips came off a few weeks ago and I've been starring at my god aweful ugly nails ever since. I miss my silk tips. *pouts* have fun getting pampered Deb, and know that I am totally green with envy.

I have butt ugly feet

and no I'm not exaggerating.

It doesn't matter what the feet look like - it's the message they give that makes all the embarrassment worth while ;)

Iwan - I can't BELIEVE there was only one person doing nails!! Yikes!
 
I know, we used to have a few but then they started having babies and getting asthma...well, you know...the herd thinned and then there was none. We are a pathetic short ugly nailed lot around these parts.
