You look wonderful...just don't get rid of any of your 'fat' pics...I'm keeping mine. I was in so few, because I was embarassed to get my photo taken, but our kids will treasure them later, no matter how we looked.
Oh, I'll keep them - they are a part of me and a part of my life with Meg - at least her early life!
i love that the water is all lined up on the back just waiting for the next morning!
Yep! We were prepared!
Your vacation looks like a blast!
I think you look great. I do understand that it takes time to get used to a smaller body. Remember the numbers don't lie--especially when it comes to weight, dress size, etc. You've accomplished so much and there are a lot of people in this community that look up to you.
Thanks - and you're right, the numbers don't lie...but it's still a work in progress. I went to the store tonight and tried on clothes. I tried on a pair of Levis, capri jeans and denim skirt, all size 10 and they all fit...but what I really needed was a shirt - so I bought one, came home, tried it on for Bob and he said..."well...it does kind a hug your lumps."
Well then...that shirt is going back tomorrow
Maybe it will be easier for you to see when your shape is even smoother.
Which one is you in the photo beside the pool?
I think you have a point - as I exercise more and lose the fat I'll be happier with my shape!
As for the pool side - I'm the one in the floral one piece. I bought the bathing suit about 16 years ago, and it never fit right, and still doesn't, too big in the butt, too small in the top and I would never buy a full blown floral suit, but my miracle suit from last summer was out of the question and I didn't go shopping before the trip. The good thing is that I'm pretty hard to see in the picture
Thanks for stopping by my diary yesterday
hope you are having a good day! TGIF!
Thanks! You too
you're beautiful deb

and you have beautiful friends

it looked like you really had wonderful time
They ARE beautiful! I love them
and a good time was had by all - it's interestig that you all look around the same size...
Well, not really, Steph is the dark hair one, she's a 4, Amy wears a 6, the tall blondish brown haired woman is a Loose 10, I'm the 12, the short blond hair woman is a 14, and Raundi is a 16-18. I was always much bigger then she is and I see myself that way.
I was thinking the same as Mal - you girls all do look very similar in size. I guess it's hard to tell in those pics, but neither one person stands out as being the biggest or the smallest. You're all beautiful and definitely look like you had a great time.
We did have a great time

And they are beautiful women inside and out - I'm really lucky to count them as my friends!
You look fantastic!! Who are the cutie men in the pics with you? Yum!
Oh, swoooooon!
They were amazing guys. We met them the first night dancing, and they hung out with us, bought drinks, danced, were absolutely hilarious...then came back to the same club the next night (an $80 RT cab fare) to meet up the next night. We ended up going back to a club where they were staying.
Really nice, fun guys, who could have had their pick of bachelorette party girls, and they chose to hang out with us middle aged married women.
Knowing they wouldn't get lucky LOL!
Hi Deb, you look fantastic. I know what you mean by you don't feel any smaller. I still wont let anyone take pics of me, I'm afraid I'll see them and still see the fatty that I was in the pic that made me want to diet. Hopefully that goes away after a while. It sure looks like you had a fun vacation, especially in the second set of pics.
Iwan (I really want to call you by your Name!) I think you need to take more pictures now. I think part of the problem is that we have spent YEARS seeing ourselves as Big. That's a lot of conditioning. The more we see of ourselves smaller might make the transition easier.
Granted, I still look at all the work I have left to do, but I woke up with a STRONG conviction that not only will I lose the weight, however much it needs to be, I am going to sculpt my body to make it look the way I want it to.
It might just take awhile
On a last note...I met a woman out shopping tonight. In the dressing room at Kohl's Department store. I asked her if she thought the jeans were too tight...we got to talking about weight, weight loss. As it turns out, she's been taking medicine to help combat a back problem and has regained all the weight she had worked really hard to lose awhile back.
It was such an amazing thing - we stood in the dressing room, and she cried as I held her
It is SO important to remember that we are MORE then the sum total of our weight. That she is MORE important then the sum total of her weight.
In the end I gave her the WLF address. I hope she finds us - she's a lovely lady and I never got her name.
OK...I'm off to fix dinner (shhh...it's only now 8:15pm)
Hope you guys had a great Friday!
