So...my chest and triceps are really feeling yesterday's work out, and Dr. Bob just got the splinter out of my big toe.

Last night's party was a lot of fun - Good beer, excellent cigars, fun was had by at least me LOL - Oh, and a guy gave me a shot glass attached to Mardi Gras type beads - I guess he thought I needed one? ;)

Oh, and I don't know if I mentioned it, I've spoken to a casting director of the Laguna Playhouse - they're looking for Megan to play Anne in Anne of Green Gables. Someone spotted her while she was playing in a neighbors backyard and said she'd be perfect.

Meg says she'd have no problem doing the play - but she hates the idea of auditioning...so we're still sitting on that fence while she makes up her mind.

and what did you do to earn those beads missy? :D hmmmm?

I think I'm just known for liking shots ;)
But then, it is funny the lengths people will go for some cheap beads ;)

raspy voices can be kinda sexy... enjoy it while it lasts...

We have 2 more cigars in the fridge - for when rhaspy goes away ;)
LOL

ETA - excessive use of winky smilies...
sorry about that!

Wow the play would be great value for Megan. I bet she'd learn heaps.

I sympathize about the muscles. My thighs are saying today was too much!! I love it when the sore bit wears off and the feeling of being tighter takes over, though. :)

I hope the rest of the weekend stays fun for you.

Anne of Green Gables is such a fantastic play. Meg would be so lucky to get that part. I hope she gets over the audition-jitters soon. And just for the record, the actual place that inspired Green Gables in PEI is the most adorable little spot. A great place to stop by on vacation.

hehe, I just wrote in my diary about beads. The standard was shirt-raising to obtain beads. I gathered about 60 strings so I'm glad I didn't wear a buttoned shirt - that's all I got to say about that ;)

Well, I didn't have to raise my shirt for the beads (last night anyway) I just LOVE the fact that they come with their own shot glass though!!

I was at a party where many of the people haven't seen me since I started losing weight, and most of which know me only in passing or through a friend of a friend - over 100 people there and I can't recall how many times the story got told. I hear ya about how those patonthebacks don't get old! I felt like I glowed last night.

Granted, that in part was because how I was feeling on the inside - having made the recomittment to not only losing the rest of this weight, but to jack up the exercising and getting *tight* really helped me over the slump I was in during the first part of this week.

Like Steve's Success thread mentioned, I am reminded to enjoy this Journey :)

And I had a great walk this morning - no running - just 8 miles of blissful independence - me and my iPod - oh, and a bandana on my head just like your avatar pic

Well NOT exactly - the pink of it was a little strong ;)

Isn't it SPRING yet?

Yeah a bit brazen for the church-going crowd to eyeball no doubt

Officially Wednesday so the lil thing on my wall says. I can't wait. Maybe I'll break out the yellow bandana just for the occasion *shrugs*

Well I didn't buy the size 10's - what I needed were tops...
AND they were tight - I don't care what that woman said about how good they looked - I felt a tad conspicuous from the back side ;)

But the jeans, capris and skirt did fit, I just wouldn't buy any for a few more pounds yet.

Well a size 10 is a size 10 no matter what :)

Don't get me started on my weakness of capri's. You're a married woman and I'm a perv so this subject just isn't going to work out :(

Oh I hear that - I was shocked! Also, never in my life have I been a 10 - I went straight from BIG little kid sizing right into a size 12 and ballooned from there!

LOL! Well, considering I practically LIVE in capris (except for right now when the only thing I own are 2 pairs of jeans) you're just gonna have to cope ;) I plan on having a boatload come this summer :D

Well then I'll buy my own capris and keep to myself. I am a man of honor (at times).

:D

I wasn't a perv till Mal made it fashionable. Apparently it faded as fast as it started :(
