I'm sorry to hear about your losses Debi, I wish I had words to make it easier for you but we all know those words don't exist.

I also know how Bob feels about the dad thing. I couldn't imagine how my son would feel if his grandpa left today and didn't show his face again for 5 years. It would break his little heart as I'm sure it broke Megan's. I think Bob is looking out for you on an emotional level, he doesn't want to see you hurt cause we all know men can't deal with it when their women are hurting...(cause then their undivided attention is no longer on the man...sorry cheap shot but I hope it made you laugh).

Anyways, (((((FORUM HUGS)))))...you know where to come if you need more.

Iwan, you hit the nail head on, Bob doesn't want to see either Meg or I hurt (as well as taking the focus off HIM!) ;) The fact that it happened before leads one to think it can happen again.

My dad didn't call yesterday, and I didn't have to side step the whole Thanksgiving issue. It's going to be a small gathering at my house this year - Bob, Megan, my Mother-In-Law and myself. Which means all the same food, with fewer people to eat it - EEEP!

It'll be ok.

I got my 5 mile walk in - I'm also taking a new route - a half mile on sidewalk to dirt trail (6 minutes), then up (11 minutes), back (9 minutes), up (11 minutes) and back (8 minutes) for 1 mile each length, then back home the half mile on the sidewalk (6 minutes) for a total of 51 minutes. It feels good :)

Halloween & Thanksgiving down - next stop, Christmas/Yule time... ;)
TDay wasn't so bad, I didn't spend any calories on those darn green beans - I went straight for the marshmallow covered mashed sweet potatoes - but you know, it didn't take much of them to satisfy me. Over all, I'm sure I ate HALF what I ate last year, and felt just as satisfied - even with only half a slice of pumpkin pie. ;)

I hope you all had a good day, and I'll catch up with diaries over the weekend!

Hey M - your doing great I could never only eat half a piece of pie...although last night i shared cheese cake with my daughter and a friend...YUM!!! That first bite was worth it all!!!

That's sweet Randy..but I have to tell you, when I read that I got the theme song from Golden Girls in my head. Anyone know that one? LOL!
