Heya's M2M,
I wanted to stop by and say hi and your doing
gr8! You are a inspiration and good motivator, love reading what
you post!Hope you have a gr8 Tuesday,Tammy:)

Well, December will be my downfall no doubt...I have a Mom's Night Out Ornament party next Monday, Friday another MNO trip to Disneyland to celebrate one of the Grace's birthdays, followed by the following week's MNO Annual Slumber Party.

Yikes!

This Mom's Night Out group sounds like loads of fun, I'm going to see if we have a gang like that around here.

Thanks you guys :)
I'm still walking - I call it my daily5. My route is MUCH easier on my feet since most of it is on a dirt packed trail instead of sidewalks! Makes a HUGE difference!

As for weight, I'm ok with just staying in place this week. Considering there was Thanksgiving one day, friends visiting from out of town another and book club last night. I feel good knowing that I can "maintain" my weight and still know that life continues to throw curves all along the way.

This is not going to be a maintenance week though - it's time to continue losing!

According to my signature, I have 32 more pounds to lose to reach my "goal weight". I don't know what I'll do when I get there - or how much I'll readjust that goal...but I'm done being in the high 80's - it's time to move down to the high 70's ;)

I think I've reached a point where even for people who see me every day, they are amazed at how much weight I've lost. All of a sudden I'm being called skinny - both from my family, close friends and acquaintences. I know I'm not and so my standard line is that I have a long way to go to get there - but I saw a picture of me where I was in the back ground - it wasn't OF me, I'm just in the back ground, and I truly didn't realize it was me until I took a closer look.

Thanks NB - those compliments are almost a double edge compliment though...in my mind, I am NOT skinny - not even close - so it's hard to take the compliment - I mean, how can you trust a compliment that in your mind isn't true?

But I do remind myself that it's their way of saying I've come a long way and that makes me feel good.

I'm never going back to where I was. I'm NEVER going to cross that 200 pound mark, and I'm NEVER going to cross that 190 mark either - and I'm making those commitments in every increment of 10. I want to get to where if someone tells me I'm skinny - I can accept it as a compliment and not think they're lying ;)

and for the record, my goal isn't to be "skinny" it's to be fit, strong & healthy first with toned and thin thrown in for good measure ;)

So, in the eyes of my child I am a HERO!

I hung a cork board and a shelf in Meg's room today while she was out playing in the neighborhood - I put her trophies, ribbons, medals, Amanda Beard signed Olympic cap, swim team photos, etc up - along with mounting two shelves up near her bed (she has a loft bed)...

She came home and is ECSTATIC!

It's the little things that make life grand :D

aww!

xD I wish I had trophies.
But I agree,it is the little things that make life grand isn't it =)

You are spot on M2M!... We know you will accomplish your goal in no time.

Oh btw... on Thanksgiving, my hunbands neice brought some wine, the first time I tried wine... it was a bottle from Olive Garden (fancy I know..hehe).. Blackberry. It was actually pretty tasty, from the sip I had.

Good for you!

Thanks Mechelle :)

Great update!! Wow on the picture! Thats fantastic!! :D:D:D

Thanks Amy - that picture really was surprising, I looked at it and thought, who's that lady sitting in the background - then I realized that's where I had been sitting, and that's when I had the big 'duh' moment ;)

Hey Pinch,
You had to dig deep for that! But yes, I agree too, those little things make all the difference - and she still LOVES her bulletin board :)

yOU BEEN TAGGED TELL US 5 THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF THAN TAG 5 PEOPLE!

Oh Tina,
I'm just going to have to pass on this - I'm entirely too shy to think of 5 things in one sitting ;)

Your heroism goes beyond your child's eyes ;)

As usual, you're sweet :)

You stopped at a sip?
OMG Woman, you're stronger then I! ;)

Hey there :)
Wanting to drink so early in the day? Wow, the power of suggestion is strong around here!!

Well, tonight was my wine club night - and here I am at home...I had to take Meg to swim practice, normally, she goes over to Grandma's house on wine club nights, but she had a special coach come in (her hero, Dave Denniston) so there was no way she was going to miss practice. Not to mention, she has a swim meet this weekend - so no slacking off for her apparently ;)

So I lost the coin toss, Bob went to wine club, I went to swim practice. I swear he has that quarter rigged ;)

I got my daily5 in and have had too light of a day calorie-wise, but will be grabbing dinner soon, I might finish the day with about 1000 calories. A bit low for me, but not a biggy.

Hope you all had a good day :)
