M2M, can you Fed Ex me any leftovers? Mmm, it sounds great. There are definitely some good choices on that menu though which is terrific too.

Momzeeee Darling!

MMMMMMMMM those appetizers sound delicious. Can I come over. My weakness is spinace dip with torn up bits of bread to eat ohhh and that cheese platter. Yum Yum Yummy!

A large mirror...you can tell you are losing weight and feeling good about yourself!

Sorry I haven't been around in a while to write in your diary! I'm trying to catch on diaries.

Hi Everyone :)

I can't tell you how just knowing that I have to "check in" helped me get through the last two parties!

I survived the wine club party and it was a huge success!

I have the smallest and least decorated of all the homes of the people in my wine club, so I always feel inclined to go over board on the food. I guess it's my over compensating personality...

By the time dinner came, people were so full of wine and appetizers, that a huge portion of the casseroles & salads went half eaten! And my house was described as "romantic" :D Even the huge mirror looked great!

The trick of making a bowl of berries back fired, I didn't snack on the food hardly at all, I took 3 very small helpings of each of the casseroles and only ate half of what I took, but one fairly generous serving of a salad full of dressing, bacon & avocado (that was my splurge)...I was eyeing my bowl of strawberries and blueberries when I noticed one of the guys sat next to it and finished off the whole bowl ;)

The wine was superb! I decided to do a walk around the world stopping in CA, France & Australia trying a Chardonnay, Cab, Merlot and Syrah from each, as well as a Malbec from France & Argentina.

I have to say, I still prefer the California wines best.

The clear winner was
Haven Merlot
Brassfield Syrah

They were both fabulous!

I had literally a sip (mouthful) of about 12 different wines, I have no idea how much that works out to, but I can't imagine it being two glasses. Between that, and the food, I did pretty good!

I'm glad it's over!

Sounds like a great time Deb, just be glad you didn't invite me. I woulda been upset without Boone's Farm and Cheez-its there :(

As always, I love visiting you diary, it just has the 'feel good' feeling in here.

Keep doing what you do :) *lacking a flirtatious insert here*

Sounds like your party was a lot of fun! I'm always relieved when parties are over. They stress me out.
Your BIG mirror sounds like it would scare me. Sometimes I don't want my image reflected back tooo big. But, that's motivation right? Keep up all your hard work! you've come a long way. Definately an inspiration.

OK, Life is returning to a semi-normality! I'm still gone about every other night, but slowly, it's becoming closer to normal!

The day after the wine club party was worse in calories then the actual wine club. My mother-in-law came over and we had left overs.

Urgh! A lot of the food I avoided the night of the party because I was busy, was just sitting there staring at me the second night ;) Let's not mention the extra wine still sitting on my counter! EEK! Cannon, I wish I could FedEX the leftovers to ya!

T2 - Boone's Farm brought back some great teen memories...well, maybe not G R E A T memories, but certainly a lot of them ;) Boone's, Anne Green Spring, Mosketel - oh yeah, we lived BIG back then ;)

The good news is I didn't gain this week, and am down a pound. I sat at a two pound loss for the week for a few days, but I'm at the one pound technically lost. I had hoped to at least remain the same, so I'm good with that one pound being gone! My cycle is due to start in the next day or so, so I can FEEL the water retention starting already!

Thanks for all your support you guys - I should be able to start catching up with all of your diaries later tonight :D

Hey mate you can kick my backside for not keeping up with the walking with you but it looks like you are still going strong. Sounds like you have been busy with a lot of things but enjoying it. I hope you are having a fantastic week.

Miss m. sometimes we need to know we are still human and can have a good time. dont worry about the wine part just find out what a bottle cost to send to texas lol. you doing great just keep that ipod charged up...

Blessings

Good Morning Everyone,

This week I'm back on track :) No more parties, and I'm almost done house sitting, so my exercise schedule won't be disturbed!

Here's a look at last week's goals:
Week of 8/13
Quote:
I went 7.3 miles in 135 minutes (18.49 minutes per mile).

8/20:
I went 8.5 miles in 145 minutes (17.06 minutes per mile).

My goal for this next week:
1. If not lose, then maintain weight of 210
2. At least 18 miles of walking spread out over the next 6 days.
3. Minimum of 3 x-training days.
4. Increase my water - I've been getting about 72 oz and I feel better with 100oz a day

Week of 8/26
I went 9.5 miles and averaged 16.26 minutes per mile.
1. I lost a pound as opposed to maintain.
2. I walked 19.2 miles instead of 18
3. I only cross trained 1 time instead of 3
4. I did not drink enough water.

My goals for this next week:
1. 10.5 miles on my Endurance Walk
2. Lose 2 pounds
3. Xtrain 3 times
4. Walk 24 miles
5. Drink 100oz a day
6. Be committed to writing down my calories.

Here's to a great week ahead :D

M2M, when you're out on these walks do you have sidewalks? If you have to walk on the street what do you do when there's a slow moving car in front of you and you need to pass?

Your party sounds wonderful and glad it was a big success. You have been a very busy girl!!! I know you're glad to get back to regular everyday stuff!!!

You are so close to your halfway point!!! Go M2M!!!!!
